Glam Pam

If I didn’t know any better, I would have guessed that this was a photo of Kelly Clarkson.

But no, it’s Jenna Fischer (“Pam”) in May’s issue of Glamour magazine.

Holy Scranton!

The photo’s part of an article called “TV’s plainest Janes go glam,” and also includes Chandra Wilson (Dr. Miranda Bailey of Grey’s Anatomy) and Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe O’Brian of 24) getting their supermodel on.

Drug Testing

TV Guide reports that the episode “Drug Testing” is scheduled to air on April 27, with this description:

When half a joint is found on company property, Dwight dons his Lackawanna County volunteer deputy sheriff’s uniform (complete with badge) and launches an investigation. He brings in a professional drug tester — a turn of events that makes Michael nervous. Meanwhile, Jim and Pam play a game in which Jim is forbidden to speak.

NBC.com’s synopsis:

WHO SHOULD SHOOT THE ‘SHERIFF’? — When Dwight (Rainn Wilson) finds half a joint in the Dunder Mifflin parking lot, he puts on his volunteer sheriff’s uniform and launches a full investigation — prompting Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) to ask for an unusual favor. Pam (Jenna Fischer) playfully issues a challenge to Jim (John Krasinski) and he does his best to follow through with it. B.J. Novak, Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Angela Kinsey, Oscar Nunez, Phyllis Smith, Melora Hardin and David Denham also star.

Jenna blogs about ‘The Dundies’

Once again, Jenna Fischer (“Pam”) goes above and beyond the call of duty with a new blog entry during a rerun week! (Thanks, Jenna!)

This time, it’s a fresh behind-the-scenes look at one of my personal favorites, The Dundies.

Jenna writes mainly about the interesting “research” she did in order to play a drunk Pam, and how Chili’s protest to a particular scene resulted in Pam falling off her bar stool instead! (The alternative would have been a little more, shall we say…sticky.)

Go to Jenna’s blog here, and be sure to read B.J. Novak’s (“Ryan”) perspective on the episode here.

For those of you who haven’t seen this episode yet, you are in for a real treat. Especially if you’re a JAM fan. :)

Rainn’s wacky wit

While checking out NBC’s redesigned Office videos area, I decided to watch the interview clips again.

The entire cast of The Office is pretty funny, but no one beats Rainn Wilson (“Dwight Schrute”) for the wackiest off-the-cuff answers!

Check out his answer to the question, “What would happen to Dwight if Rainn got to write the episode?”

…I think that I would love to have Dwight win a contest on Rock 107 and win a, a trip to visit the set of “Battlestar Galactica,” where he meets his dream girl, Starbuck, played by Katee Sackhoff.

And he’s…maybe starts to stalk her, maybe too much, and gets thrown off the set and maybe, they shoot in Vancouver, so I end up like in a Canadian jail, with a hobo named…Ronny. And uh, Angela has to come and bail me out in Canadian dollars.

And then we ride the rails back to Scranton and um, learn a lot about ourselves.

Something like that might be good.

Yeah, I’ll say! :)

Episode tidbits and deleted scenes

In addition to a list of quotes, I am starting to add trivia tidbits and deleted scenes to various episode pages.

For example:

  • Go to Health Care to see a picture and quotes for one of the funniest deleted scenes ever — Pam and Jim discussing Dwight’s attempts at signage for his office workspace.
  • Go to Valentine’s Day to find out who created Dwight’s bobblehead.
  • Go to Dwight’s Speech for the link to the website where Jim researched Mussolini.

As always, if you have suggestions on stuff to add, just add a comment to that episode’s page!

Cuff me, I’ve been a bad girl …

Jenna Fischer (“Pam”) and Angela Kinsey (“Angela”) do a fantastic job of posting behind-the-scenes photos to their MySpace blogs.

I just happened to see this one of Dwight and had to post it.

Jenna enticingly captions the picture as:
“Coming soon – Dwight Schrute, Volunteer Sheriff’s Deputy.”
