• Steve Carell visits ‘Late Night with Conan O’Brien on Thursday, July 27th. See the calendar for a complete list of events.
• From the NBC Studio Pass email I received yesterday: “As if today’s launch of The Office webisodes isn’t exciting enough, we’re also letting the fans vote for their favorite episode starting next week …”
• Dwight’s Travel Story, Josh Smith in Town: check out this very cute pictorial. Dig them shades!
• According to the Season 2 DVD packaging, Season 3 will premier on September 21.
• Last but definitely not least, the cast and crew of The Office starts shooting Season 3 next Tuesday, July 18th! Woo-hoo!

Thanks to OT reader Nick for pointing me to the screenshots of The Office Season 2 DVD menus over at DVDActive.com, which I have to say, are beautifully designed. (Scroll all the way down, past the box shots.)

But Nick asks, “Am I crazy or are there no Jenna Fischer Home Movies? I thought she said in her blog they’d be on there.”

Good question … perhaps these are just preliminary designs?

Okay, just when you thought you couldn’t waste any more time here at OfficeTally, I’ve got more for ya …

As you were watching the webisodes over at NBC.com, did you happen to notice that The Office site itself has been updated? — fancy new banner images, updated bios (now of the whole cast!), an Adventures with Dwight bobblehead gallery and sweepstakes (coming soon) and photos.

Oh my, lots and lots of photos. Like, 175 photos. I don’t know when they were posted, but I had never seen them before this morning. Photos of deleted scenes from Boys and Girls, Drug Testing, Email Surveillance, The Fire, Michael’s Birthday, and around the office just goofing off.

Brian Baumgartner’s TV Guide blog!

Brian Baumgartner (”Kevin”) has a brand new blog over at TV Guide! And yes, this time he is blogging as Brian, and not Kevin. (He blogs as Kevin on MySpace.)

An excerpt from his inaugural post:

True story: while filming [the pilot], Angela, Oscar and I, at various times, thought we were going to get fired. For real. Like us, the actors. We thought art was going to imitate life and we were going to be downsized. We didn’t have any real reason for thinking this (or at least any reason that I am willing to blog about here), but we figured we were on the chopping block.

Brian also talks about The Secret and relays some good Hooters stories, but I think that’s because that episode was originally scheduled to air tonight, but isn’t anymore.

The Break Room interviews Angela Kinsey

“Three average guys” from Frisco, Texas, talk to Angela Kinsey about a variety of Office-related topics, including:

• Oscar’s talking-impaired moment in a future webisode involving the word “Seiko.” After about 18 takes, he finally nailed it.
• Angela’s inability to keep a straight face during the bologna and ketchup sandwich scene from Michael’s Birthday.
• More details on what’s going to be on the Season 2 DVD set, including the fact that almost every episode will include commentary!
• And of course, no interview would be complete without a tantalizing little thought about Season 3 …
