  1. Wow…The Office beat The Simpsons.

I don’t know how I feel about this. They are both such excellent shows!

  2. Rashida Jones is supposed to appear on the Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Monday March 24 if anyone is interested.

  3. Kudos to The Office as MSN’s best all time mid-season replacement show! I was one of those snarling naysayers back in 2005 who embraced the perfection of the original Office and cringed at the thought of an American version. That is, until I came upon Diversity Day by accident right when Dwight says, “Shalom, I’d like to apply for a loan.” The next time I found it channel surfing was the beginning of the Hot Girl episode, and from there I was totally hooked and anxiously hoping it wouldn’t be canceled. I’m glad it got good reviews, great support like this site, and a bigger following!

Too bad about BJ Novak not being able to make the appearance in Seattle. I just got notification of the cancellation from Tickets West. Hope it will be rescheduled, because it was nearly sold out! Well, maybe this summer (hope, hope, hope).

  4. Re #1 (Andrew), yeah I was a bit stunned that The Simpsons were beat by ANY show, but especially Dawson’s Creek? I’m just thankful The Office out-ranked Dawson.

  5. I only caught about three words of that before I totally lost focus…John, Krasinksi, and Leno! LoL! :::programs TV:::

  6. Ed Helms will also be on Conan this Wednesday night (3/26).

[from tanster: this is a repeat.]

  7. #1 and #4 I was a little perplexed with the Simpsons placement, too. I probably would’ve had Simpsons 1 and Office 2. And I’m a HUGE Office fan. The Simpsons has been around for 20 years, though. That’s saying something.

Then, I realized that it’s really not a big deal. It’s just someone’s opinion. :-)

  8. Hey, tanster — Now I always say “Cor-not University”, as in “Last week Stanford men’s basketball beat Cor-not in a blow out.” tee hee!

  9. I don’t think The Office is technically being named the #1 replacement. The list is chronological by year, with The Office being the most recent. Still cool it made the list though!
