The Weekend Tally
Sunday, June 8th, 2008Fan report: Brittany at the iOWest show
Hey Tanster!
I just got back from seeing Angela, Oscar and Creed at the iO West in Hollywood. I just move to LA today and had a great first night seeing the cast members of my favorite TV show perform.
The show was an Armando type show with Creed being the Armando. He told some funny stories about the first time he tripped on acid during his Grass Roots days, to a conversation he had with his mother about catapulting her body once she has “passed one.”
Before the show, I had a chance to meet Angela who was extremely nice and looked amazing for just having a baby. She offered me some words of encouragement and put my dad at ease about leaving me here in LA. All in all, it was an awesome show.
Here is a link to a photo gallery of pictures I took from tonight’s show!
If it wasn’t for your amazing site, I would have never known about this show!
Brittany

7AM he started signing?! WOW! I got there a little before 10AM (the scheduled start) and didn’t see him there. My friend and I walked around the floor a little, got lost, then walked past a set of elevators and saw him walk off them and then start walking down the hallway to the suite (which, being lost, we just followed his VERY tall head in the sea of heads to the suite) :)
27 | Jenny Mon. Jun. 9, 2008 at 6:25pmApparently Rainn started signing at like 7 am, hence the early cut off. When I got there, there was a guard who was holding the end of the line, and no more people could line up. Oh well. Next time!
26 | Lauren in Chicago Mon. Jun. 9, 2008 at 6:07pmuhhhh, john?
*dies from his hotness*
ohmygod.
25 | Melissa Krasinski Mon. Jun. 9, 2008 at 2:51pmi just fell in love with krasinski-mania more.
By the time I got to NeoCon Rainn Wilson left an hour and a half early than he was supposed to… I missed him by a few minutes. How disappointing!
24 | Sad Mon. Jun. 9, 2008 at 2:41pmJust want to mention, NeoCon in Chicago IS open to the public & I, in fact, just met Mr. Rainn Wilson there! So if you’re in the area of the Merch. Mart def. stop in and see him :)
23 | Jenny Mon. Jun. 9, 2008 at 11:19amhey… in that rashida interview, when they mention john, they are talking about john krasinski?
22 | she's not yo ho no mo! Mon. Jun. 9, 2008 at 10:48amSteve, John (who would apparently look hot even with a paper bag over his head), Jenna, Angela, Rashida…haha, and the rest of the cast, the writers…Jesus, everyone’s so amazing I can’t even get over it! Wonderful tally this weekend. Thanks!
21 | kris Mon. Jun. 9, 2008 at 2:37amIs anyone in Chicago going to try and see Rainn at NeoCon? I don’t think the event is open to the public, but I might go see anyway.
20 | Andy's Plaid Pants Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 11:51pmThanks so much for all of articles, videos and news.
19 | what's the dealio? Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 9:03pmJohn Krasinski with a beard and glasses is oh so dorky and adorable! That guy had his head shaved in Jarheads, wore geeky glasses and greasy hair in Smiley Face, and got a super short haircut for Leatherheads…what a trouper!
Aw. Jenna is so darling in that video. Plus she looks dynamite! What a hottie! (:
18 | Erin Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 8:13pmOh man, the Admissions Office episodes are great. The Steve character is fantastic and he delivers so many lines that I could completely see coming from Michael Scott. I wish there were more.
17 | Dr. David Friendly Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 6:25pmRainn Wilson’s movie looks good! The indie film that Jenna is in should also be alright.
I love the Steve Carell US airways interview, he’s so down to earth. So real, yet so shy and unlike most of the characters he plays on TV.
16 | Mrs. Michael Scott Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 4:20pmWhoa, John! I just hope he cleans up for season 5.
15 | Pam Scherbatsky Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 3:55pmAw, I can’t wait to read Angela’s baby blog!
14 | Spicy Curry Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 2:36pmI loved the Steve article, too. The story about how he and Nancy ended up together was sweet!
And wow, does JKras look different!
Wow, the Admissions Office video was amazing. (Check out their second episode, too.) It recaptures the spirit of The Office’s first season.
13 | What's Second Base? Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 2:08pmDid anyone see the pic of John next to the article about the movie…scary he looks like my chemistry teacher omg he looks so different at first I didn’t know it was him and usually I always know when it’s him
12 | Courtney Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 1:59pmThat Steve interview was refreshing! He’s so down-to-earth and real, despite his superstardom.
11 | Sprinkles Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 1:34pmWhen Steve said he was committed a full seven seasons, I’m pretty sure he means his contract. In all of his interviews, he has always said that he would never leave, which is lucky for us!
Another fantastic Weekend Tally, Tanster!
10 | Cher is Bonto Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 1:18pmI love A Cursive Memory! I’ve been following their group from the beginning… nice to see some sort of Office significance. It was also awesome to hear Cursive Memory on Jenna Fischer’s page. (-: That video is great!
9 | tangyzipofmiraclewhip Sun. Jun. 8, 2008 at 11:48amQuestion.
