Happy Birthday, Gene!

An Emmy-nominated writer of one of my favorite episodes of The Office Season 4, ‘Dinner Party.’ A rising star, according to Variety. One half of the famous Leo and Gino team, whose one riveting scene on the Season 2 DVD blooper reel isn’t nearly enough screen time. (Thank goodness for the Season 4 DVD!)
Happy Birthday, Gene! As Hunter would sing, “You make everything alright …”

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008 | 37 commentsSPOILER ALERT! Article and subsequent comments may contain spoilers.
E! Online’s Kristin Dos Santos talks to a newly freed Jenna Fischer about ‘The Office’ Season 5:
What … can you tell us about Pam this season?
Well, I think last season was all about Pam being in love and just enjoying that and being content with Jim and now, she still has Jim, but she is growing and getting into something she’s always wanted to do. It’s a big year for Pam.

B.J. Novak at Loyola University
Saturday, August 23rd, 2008 | 14 commentsB.J. Novak performs at Loyola University, Chicago, tonight at 8pm.
The information page says “Free admission for LUC students, faculty, and staff,” but does not specifically mention whether the event is open to the public.
Tipster Kiki says “I don’t think IDs will be checked at the door, so maybe Tallyheads can try to stop by to see if they will be allowed admission to BJ’s show.” Take a risk?
