This was a break in the shooting, and The Office cast was having fun playing a little catch. I am chatting with Creed. The atmosphere all week was fun and relaxed. :)

There was a break in today’s on-location shooting to announce The Office’s 100th episode to the press. I got to watch the festivities. Executive producer Greg Daniels gave an enormously heartfelt speech about the show’s early struggles, and then proceeded to name a long list of people who never stopped believing in the show’s magic. I almost teared up!

There was an enormous cake to cut, after which Rainn Wilson put his entire fist into the cake and tried to shake hands with people.

Creed Bratton phone call

I just got off the phone with The Office’s Creed Bratton. He called to thank me for coming to visit the set. How sweet is that?

He also let me know that he’ll be playing a gig in San Diego this week. I asked him to send me his full calendar so I can post it on OfficeTally. You guys would love to see him perform live, right?

Lastly, he told me he’s planning to visit Iceland. “It’s so Creed,” he said. “I’m going to Iceland because I heard there are fairies there. I’m going to look for them under rocks. If anyone can find them, Creed can!”

I love him.
