Angela Kinsey stars in Fox pilot ‘Dirty Blondes’

From Deadline.com:

… a comedy starring Rachael Harris (Hangover) and The Office‘s Angela Kinsey has gone to Fox with a put pilot commitment. Zombieland helmer Ruben Fleischer is set to direct the project, created by Stacy Traub (Glee), Harris and Kinsey and to be written by Traub. Titled Dirty Blondes, the comedy, from 20th Century Fox TV, is based on the real life long-time friendship of Kinsey and Harris. It centers on two women who’ve been friends for 16 years. Both get divorced and are brought closer together by the experience. Traub and Fleischer executive produce, with Harris and Kinsey co-executive producing.

Congratulations, Angela!

P.S. Here’s Wikipedia’s definition of a put pilot.

P.P.S. Here’s one of my favorite Rachael Harris commercials.

  1. This is great news, big fan of both these women, so really hoping this gets picked up. But I guess that really means no Angela for The Farm, which means that if The Farm gets picked up, Dwight and Angela are over for good. Maybe that’s why they decided not to make the baby Dwight’s after all.

  2. This is great news! Angela and Rachael are such amazing comedic actors and I’m always excited when they get to work together. This sounds like a fabulous idea for a show and I can’t wait to see it!!!

  3. Excellent! Congrats to Angela. She deserves it. And Rachael Harris is amazingly hilarious.

  4. Congratulations Angela! (And I think Rachael Harris is wonderful too!) I’m a little sad she won’t be on The Farm – maybe she’ll still have time for a guest spot though.
I have my fingers crossed that everyone from The Office will have some amazing new opportunities in the future – they are all very talented people!
