The Office set visit raffle

Thanks to NBC, Randy Cordray, Steve Carell, and Marcus York (Scranton Business Park manager “Billy Merchant”), SCICure Advancement is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a set visit to The Office for two people — and this includes hotel, air fare, and transportation!

Proceeds will help SCI Research Advancement find a cure for spinal cord injury.

Rainn Wilson’s auction for Haiti

On January 12, Haiti was devastated by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake. The Office’s Rainn Wilson is auctioning off some cool Office stuff to raise money for Haiti relief:

“Dear Tallyheads,  
I wanted to do some Haiti fundraising with tanster and so I’ve hauled out some invaluably precious Office items to auction. This will benefit the amazing charity I work with called Planting Peace. They will be working hard on providing aid after the earthquake. Thanks for your support of ‘The Office’ and for your generosity to the suffering people of Haiti.”

Jenna Fischer hosts Kitten Rescue fundraiser

The Office’s Jenna Fischer hosts “Fur Ball at the Skirball,” a fundraiser benefiting one of Jenna’s favorite charities, Kitten Rescue. This is Jenna’s second time hosting this event!

The evening includes cocktails, dinner, live entertainment, silent auction, and raffle. And if it’s like last year, Office goodies will be available for bidding!

The Office cast at CNN Heroes tribute

The Office’s Jenna Fischer, Rainn Wilson, Kate Flannery, and Creed Bratton attended ‘CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute’ on Saturday night.

Jenna says:

CNN Heroes honors 10 ordinary people who have done extraordinary things.

One man, Jorge Munoz, drives a bus all day long, goes home to his family, and together they cook 150 meals in their kitchen for the homeless. They drive their truck to the same corner each night and hand out the meals. He gets food donated and keeps it in six refrigerators around his house!

Another man, Roy Foster, was a homeless veteran. He pulled himself off the streets and now dedicates himself to getting other vets off the streets as well. He has a halfway house that provides food, shelter, and as he puts it, “camaraderie.” His motto is “no man left behind.”

It was an AMAZING night. I think this show is a great way to kick off the holidays. It has certainly put me in a more giving, patient, and loving place.

CNN: An All-Star Tribute airs Thanksgiving night, 9pm ET.
