Rewind: NPR interviews Jenna and Rainn
Wednesday, December 31st, 2008 | 15 commentsYesterday, NPR re-ran interviews with The Office’s Jenna Fischer and Rainn Wilson, originally aired in June and July of this year.
Even if you’ve heard them already, they’re worth a second listen.
- Jenna’s interview: This is one of the best interviews Jenna’s ever done! She talks with poignancy about The Office’s director Ken Kwapis and director of photography Randall Einhorn. Brought a tear to my eye. Listen now
- Rainn’s interview: The interview is insightful, thoughtful, and in one part, so funny it actually makes Terry Gross snort. Like a full-volume snort. Awesome. Listen now

Jenna and Rainn’s new projects
Friday, December 19th, 2008 | 7 commentsFrom Variety:
“The Office” stars Rainn Wilson and Jenna Fischer have been moonlighting outside of their Dunder Mifflin cubicles.
Wilson has partnered with scribe Adam Braff to create “Hump Tulips,” a single-camera laffer about a lawyer who winds up in a small Washington town in pursuit of the woman he loves. Braff and Wilson will write and exec produce.
Fischer, meanwhile, will serve as the nonwriting exec producer on an hourlong comedic drama about a lumber salesman who solves a crime and becomes a private eye, along with a ragtag group of pals.
