OfficeTally’s resident show analyst, bales, just posted that Emmy-nominated shows have until this Friday, July 27th, to submit six episodes for voter consideration, according to Tom O’Neil, GoldDerby columnist at TheEnvelope.com.
I believe The Office’s original submission, The Coup, will count as one of the six.
I’ll update the list as news develops.
In the meantime, which five other episodes do you think should be submitted?

DVD 2: Ep #3 and Ep #4

The TCA (Television Critics Association) has awarded The Office its Best Comedy award for the second year in a row. Awards were presented tonight at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
“The Office’’ producer Greg Daniels says he spent the whole day reading “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. “I’m on page 450, and it’s good,’’ Daniels says. “If we adapt it for American audiences, it could be really successful.’’
He then introduced the cast that showed up for the awards – and said how he would cast them as “Harry Potter’’ characters. Brian Baumgartner as Hagrid; Mindy Kaling as Pavarti, or Luna; Angela Kinsey as Delores Umbridge; Kate Flannery as Aunt Petunia; Oscar Nunez as Viktor Krum; Leslie David Baker as Mr. Dursley and Creed Bratton as Lucius Malfoy.
Congratulations, Office gang!

Jenna wrote me to say:
I’m so proud of Angela, Brian and Oscar. They worked really hard on those and showed up in their free time to work on them. It was something they wanted to do for the fans and I’m really proud they got recognized. Randall Einhorn shot and directed them. He’s our usual D.P. — you may have met him during your visit. Anyway, he did a great job. I feel like a proud Mom or something but we really are like family over there …
