Update 1: The producer’s cut version will be available for a week. (Thanks, Dana!)

Update 2: Executive producer Greg Daniels will be live blogging that night, 9pm ET/6pm PT.

  1. how is exactly is this going to work? By “streaming” do they mean like the deleted scenes or webisodes, or will this be a one time live event?

  2. This is very cool. I’m hoping it’s going to be like the deleted scenes and webisodes instead of just a one off.

  3. I have the same question that kely has. I can’t be online at 9pm PT, but can I watch it later? Or is it a live streaming thing?

  4. Yeah, J’s got a point. We here on the East Coast aren’t as used to translating the time zones as others. What is 9 PT for us?

  5. Yay! This is so exciting! I can’t wait to see the producer’s cut of Branch Closing…I hope that it’s a live streaming thing. Do you think somebody will post the Producer’s Cut on YouTube?

  6. Wow, they do listen to us! A supersized episode one week and the special long one this week! My life couldn’t be any better.

  7. So since its midnight on the east coast will it be saved to the site or will that be the only chance for us to see it, because I doubt I’ll be able to stay up until midnight since I have to get up @ 6 the next morning in order to get ready and be at work by 8:30.

  8. So do you guys think that the episode they have on itunes will be the extended version or the tv version?

I hope hope hope it’s the extended version.

  9. My guess is that they will put the TV version on iTunes, but will put both the regular and the extended cut on the DVD.
