The site is so fun. I can’t wait fo find out about the innovations Ryan has in mind. I don’t know if I’d be thrilled if I were a Nashuaite (lived there for 10 years) to be grouped with Utica,Yonkers, et al… I think they were going for off the beaten path places like Scranton.

How weird. I live in Washington state, but I am currently in New Hampshire for my sister’s wedding and I was just in Nashua the other day. I wish Dunder Mifflin would spread out to the west coast! =]

WLHUNG (#48): I’m pretty confident that the scene was filmed at the 49th Street & Broadway station on the N/R/W line. If I remember the episode correctly, there was bright red glazed brick in the station, at the top of the stairway — that’s definitely the 49th Street station (pass through it on my way to work everyday). There are probably multiple entrances, so check them all out. I’m guessing it’s an entrance right on Broadway/closest to the center of Times Square (“the center of the universe!” where Steve Carell/Michael Scott pointed out all of the great restaurants — Red Lobster, etc. — in NYC). Also, Tanster, has the Office page at NBC always had Pam’s “I feel God in this Chili’s” quote underneath the date for the season 4 premiere? Is that some kind of hint?

Good call, Beardy. Speaking of nerd moments, I’m living in New York this summer and made it my mission to get pictures of myself reenacting scenes from the Office that took place in Manhattan. I have all the major ones except for the subway scene (“there’s a guy pooping in a box”), since I can’t find that station.
