Backstage.com spotlights a number of Emmy-deserving actors, including Ethan Suplee (My Name is Earl), Jennifer Morrison (House), Forest Whitaker (The Shield), and last but not least, Jenna Fischer.

Whenever Pam does something sort of unlikeable, I get excited. I want her to be human. I find there’s more of a pressure in real life, because it’s really easy to be likeable and wonderful when a room of 12 very smart writers create you.

  2. I love her insight into Pam’s character – she just GETS it. It’s amazing.

    And I love how her answer to playing a “good” character was unlike everyone else’s – she sees the need for dimension and jumps at the chance to be “unlikeable” for the sake of realism. Then again, it’s PAM, so how much can we *really* hate her?
