“Jen is a fantastic person and a tremendous writer,” NBC Uni TV senior vp comedy programming Shelley McCrory said. “She’s become an invaluable player on ‘The Office,’ and we’re thrilled by the opportunity to remain in business with her.”

Jennifer wrote ‘Email Surveillance,’ ‘Drug Testing,’ ‘Grief Counseling,’ and ‘A Benihana Christmas.’

  3. This is great news! Jen Celotta is one of my favorite writers on the show. “Drug Testing” and “Grief Counseling” are two of my fav all time “Office” eps. COngrats to Jen!!

  4. This is great; “Drug Testing” and “Email Surveillance” are easily among my favorite episodes. Nice to know she’ll be around; maybe _she_ can get Pam back in Jim’s bedroom again! ;)

  5. a “two-year deal”; does that mean a guarantee of at least two more seasons of The Office?

  6. Go Jen! E-mail Surveillance is my favorite episode with Drug Testing a close second.

  7. Beyond being a great writer, her office gets used for Michael’s “Michael’s office” scenes — as we learned from the tour insights here and GMMR — so it’s probably in their best interest to make sure Jen remains in that office. Who knows if a new tenant woulid be so cooperative? :)
