‘Office’ Lovebirds Enjoy Their Work

Frazier Moore of the Associated Press talks to Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski about their roles of Pam and Jim on The Office.

An excerpt:

Pam was thrown for a loop by Jim’s boldness [in Casino Night]. So, apparently, was Jenna.

“At the table read,” reports John, “when I first read my line, ‘I’m in love with you,’ Jenna said, ‘What?!’ — right in front of the whole cast. It was hilarious. They put that in the final script.”

  1. That’s a great article. Very sweet. You can tell they like each other a lot. (As if we couldn’t already.)

  2. Great article. John and Jenna seem like really good friends. I love that she pointed out how “blush-y” he was when she called him cute =]

  3. OMG!!! THIS is priceless!!!

“After shooting that episode, says John, “Jenna asked me, `Is THIS what YOU’VE been living with all along?’ And I told her, `Yeah! How does it feel!'”

  4. I love the chemistry Jenna and John have as friends and co-workers. Perfect for the roles, indeed!

  5. I know — John is just…GAH. That’s the best kind of boy — the kind who has no idea how adorable he is. I just love that about him. It comes through in the Jim character, too, which makes him all the more believeable.

Their chemistry is priceless. Must make it hard to go home some days…. ;-)

  6. That article made my day. I love that the “what?!” from Pam after Jim says “I’m in love with you” was her real reaction.

  7. That was such a cheesy, gushy article, but wow, I have tears in my eyes. It’s so nice to know that the people who make the show care about Jim and Pam even more than we could so no matter what detours they take we can trust it’ll turn out right.

  8. Awww, that was such a sweet article to read. Thanks for posting that up. I really enojyed that…they are both oh to cute!

  9. I love how Angela walks by and just says “Kitchen!” She really is looking better this season, particularly in the talking heads.
