From the NY Post:

He’s doing Dogberry, the dogged policeman of “Much Ado About Nothing.” “Rainn is one of the funniest people on the planet, and Dogberry is a great part for him,” says Michael Sexton, the artistic director of the Shakespeare Society. “He’s someone who speaks with great conviction while being absolutely wrong. That, to me, is the essence of comedy.”

  3. Hey! Just a heads-up to anyone planning on going… get there early! These things tend to fill up fast and a lot of seats end up being reserved for special guests or benefactors. The Kaye isn’t enormous, though, so any seat you can get in there should be decent. Will be a great event!

  4. i’m so there. do you think two hours is enough time? or should i just skip work? i’ve heard about these free shows filling up fast, but any help anyone could provide would greatly be appreciated.

  5. I’d say at the very least an hour before, if not earlier, though the doors probably won’t open till 6. The free theater events in the city tend to be crowded, especially with this mix of popular theater and tv stars. You can always all and ask what they recommend!

  6. Oh man I’m going to be in NY then! I’m going to line up at 8 am or something. I love waiting in line early lol.
