Reminder: Emmy nominations announced tomorrow

Just a reminder that Emmy nominations will be announced tomorrow morning by Brad Garrett and Julia Louis-Dreyfus around 5:30am PT from the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.

Come back here tomorrow morning for what I hope will be some great news about The Office!

  1. Ahhhhh, I can’t stand this anticipation!!! I will be really mad if Carell isn’t nominated. Of course I want the others to be too, but I will be REALLY mad if Carell isn’t!

  2. I agree. I would be soooo happy to see her nominated, as well as John and Rainn. But for the ones that are more likely, I want Steve.

  3. Erm, I think Steve is pretty much a shoo-in. Just me. I’m much more worried about Jenna, because her role is much more under-the-radar (which is PRECISELY what makes it great), meaning she might get overlooked in the process. I’ve heard a lot of buzz for Jaime Pressly (who’s great in her own right) because her character is more over-the-top.

  4. I don’t know if this was posted earlier, but in the July 10 issue of People Magazine, John Krasinski was listed as a “Dream Nominee” for the Best Actor in a Comedy Series category! The magazine stated, “He may turn up nominated as a supporting actor, but the show would be unwatchable without him: He’s loosely funny, kind and human, whereas star Steve Carell always seems like some dumb little fascist inexplicably put in charge of a workplace instead of a country.” Well, I don’t really agree with the Steve Carell comment, but yay for John!!!

  5. Okay, is it weird for me to say that I don’t want Jenna or John to pick up a nod if they don’t BOTH get it? I feel like Jim and Pam are brilliant as an ensemble, and to nominate one without the other (or even to root for one and not the other) is ludicrous.

  6. Hey neat, I’m watching them on the live webcast! Except I am also updating software at the same time so it keeps buffering : (
    Go The Office!
