  1. My favorite actress and actor in one movie?! Yes please!

It’s so refreshing to see a movie with a couple that is equally funny. Not the guy overshadowing the lady for once. This should be great. :)

  2. wow, you would think a fey/carell combo can do better than that. typical hollywood big budget movie

  3. Me too, tanster — I had the same reaction at the beginning. But I really cracked up at Mark Wahlberg. The other cameos from James Franco and Mila Kunis (I think?) might mean this could be better than what you’d probably expect. And the Nickelback song on the soundtrack doesn’t hurt either. Gee, I absorbed a lot of info in 2.5 minutes.

  4. I think it looks funny. I’m sure it’ll be good for some end of semester laughs – April 2010 seems like forever away.

  5. I was expecting the movie to be more like a romantic comedy not an action movie, but it still looks pretty funny.

  6. Steve and Tina? I’m there. Mark Wahlberg with no shirt? I’m there with a drool bib!

  7. This’ll be on the must see list.

I have high hopes since Claire and Phil are the Dunpheys on Modern Family and that’s one of my favorite new shows. :P

  8. James Franco and Mila Kunis getting upset about the reservation was hilarious! Seems like a long wait for the movie. Kind of like waiting for the description for the December 3rd episode! It’s making me think it’s goning be something big!

  9. This movie looks FANTASTIC! It’s been a while since I’ve seen a movie trailer and actually got this excited about it. Too bad we have to wait until April =/

  10. I can’t agree more with:
“My favorite actress and actor in one movie?! Yes please!”

    anticipating this movie like crazy)))

  11. I thought the first minute was hysterical and then it became an action film which is not really my thing. But love them and I will probably love this movie.

  12. I’m going to have a lot trouble not viewing them as Michael Scott and Liz Lemon, but I will still see this out of love for both of them.

  13. I feel like the plot of the movie sounds terrible. But Steve and Tina are so hysterical and work so well together, that they must make it awesome. And seriously, the cameos alone make it worth seeing – Wahlberg, James Franco, Mila Kunis, I think some other SNL people too. All in all, the people in it are going to make what should be an awful movie pretty fantastic.

  14. This movie looks kind of awful. But it has Steve Carell and Tina Fey so I’m probably seeing it.

  15. i totally agree with comment #23 this movie looks terrible but it has an awesome cast. So there is a high chance i might go see it for laughs

  16. Ha – I wear a night guard, too. :) This movie doesn’t look anything like what I expected. But like many of you, I will see anything that Steve Carell is in, so I’ll be at the theater in April!

  17. I felt a “That’s what she said” just dying to come out there at the end! I can’t wait to see it and support Steve!

  18. I gotta say I’m incredibly indifferent on how this will turn out. On one hand, it could end up being incredibly hilarious and on the other hand, it just appears that they got all these stars to compensate for what could end up being a lack of laughs. I’ll still see this opening day, though.

This is also TMI, but I also wear a night guard and unlike Tina Fey here, I make sure I suck all the saliva off of it before taking it out of my mouth.

  19. The movie isn’t even out yet, and I’m excited to see the bloopers for this movie! Steve Carell and Tina Fey? Yes Please!

  20. I am so excited for this movie. I have been using an internet site for about a month now to count down the days til it is released. How sad is that? 148 more days to go!

Also, Steve looks unbelievably sexy (as usual). He seems to have a scene that involves him pole dancing! That’s certainly something to look forward to.

  21. Me and my future Mrs. (Hopefully, if she says yes), are totally waiting for this movie to come out.

  22. I’ve already got 4/9/10 on my calendar!

Well, everyone has that date on their calendar… :/ But I mean, I have the movie’s release written down and will be there on opening weekend!

  23. Not at all what I was expecting the movie to be like, but I still can’t wait to see it!!

  24. I had no idea this movie was coming out. It looks interesting…they put 2 great comedians in an action-adventure movie…hmmmm

  25. Tina Fey and Steve Carell, probably my favorite two comedians in the world, and this movie looks hilarious so even my friends who don’t love The Office and 30 Rock as much as I do but I think they’ll still be interested…:)

  26. The part where they were doing the accents made me laugh so hard I was tearing up! lol, def want to see it!

  27. The Southern British accent is so amazing, I think I should talk that way all day tomorrow at work, and I’m a teacher. Maybe the kids will pay more attention?

  28. Boo! Regis won’t be on Thursday’s episode. I think one of the DWTS judges is co-host.

  29. I met Steve Carell tonight outside Letterman at the Date Night premiere and got his autograph and some pictures! Tanster any interest in the pictures? and if so what’s the best way to post them?

  30. “because I’m adorable” best answer to a question ever by Steve Carell!

  31. HAHA! Steve Carell & Jon Stewart’s little act could’ve gone on forever & I still would’ve laughed my head off. Too bad it was only 5 minutes. Always love when he goes back to The Daily Show.

Also loved when Moment of Zen at the end was Produce Pete’s recipe for kimchi:

  32. Thanks for posting the Daily Show clip. Steve and Jon Stewart are hilarious together. Totally made my day :)

  33. Steve and Jon were awesome, as usual. The interview seemed so short, though! They should’ve given Steve an extra-long segment and left out the bit with the puppet. It was funny, but it was no Steve Carell!

  34. you can automatically tell how great of friends steve and john are. so hilarious

  35. tina and steve were great on rachel ray! i was happy they got to talk for so long, i wasn’t expecting that!

  36. I just saw this movie yestrday and thought it was great! Steve Carell and Tina Fey were hilarious as usual. This is definitely a movie worth going to see. :)

  37. I love that Tina Fey knew/remembered that Michael Scott’s favorite Italian restaurant in NYC is Sbarro’s.
