Steve Carell and Tina Fey in ‘Date Night’
Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 | 38 commentsSummary: Claire and Phil Foster (Tina Fey and Steve Carell) are a typical suburban couple whose lives including their weekly date nights of dinner and a movie have become routine. To reignite the marital spark, they visit a trendy Manhattan bistro where a case of mistaken identity turns their evening into the ultimate date night-gone-awry. But as Claire and Phil take their unexpected walk on the wild side, they begin to remember what made them so special together.
‘Date Night’ opens April 9th, 2010.
Here is a trailer:

Oh Man! This looks like a great action-comedy. I’m looking forward to April!!
Tina Fey and Steve Carell, probably my favorite two comedians in the world, and this movie looks hilarious so even my friends who don’t love The Office and 30 Rock as much as I do but I think they’ll still be interested…:)
I had no idea this movie was coming out. It looks interesting…they put 2 great comedians in an action-adventure movie…hmmmm
Not at all what I was expecting the movie to be like, but I still can’t wait to see it!!
No one mentioned that Common is one of the bad guys. Pretty cool.
I’ve already got 4/9/10 on my calendar!
Well, everyone has that date on their calendar… :/ But I mean, I have the movie’s release written down and will be there on opening weekend!
Me and my future Mrs. (Hopefully, if she says yes), are totally waiting for this movie to come out.
I am so excited for this movie. I have been using an internet site for about a month now to count down the days til it is released. How sad is that? 148 more days to go!
Also, Steve looks unbelievably sexy (as usual). He seems to have a scene that involves him pole dancing! That’s certainly something to look forward to.
I can’t wait!!!
The movie isn’t even out yet, and I’m excited to see the bloopers for this movie! Steve Carell and Tina Fey? Yes Please!
I gotta say I’m incredibly indifferent on how this will turn out. On one hand, it could end up being incredibly hilarious and on the other hand, it just appears that they got all these stars to compensate for what could end up being a lack of laughs. I’ll still see this opening day, though.
This is also TMI, but I also wear a night guard and unlike Tina Fey here, I make sure I suck all the saliva off of it before taking it out of my mouth.
I felt a “That’s what she said” just dying to come out there at the end! I can’t wait to see it and support Steve!
This movie looks amazing! I am so excited to see it!
Ha – I wear a night guard, too. :) This movie doesn’t look anything like what I expected. But like many of you, I will see anything that Steve Carell is in, so I’ll be at the theater in April!
i totally agree with comment #23 this movie looks terrible but it has an awesome cast. So there is a high chance i might go see it for laughs
This movie looks kind of awful. But it has Steve Carell and Tina Fey so I’m probably seeing it.
I feel like the plot of the movie sounds terrible. But Steve and Tina are so hysterical and work so well together, that they must make it awesome. And seriously, the cameos alone make it worth seeing – Wahlberg, James Franco, Mila Kunis, I think some other SNL people too. All in all, the people in it are going to make what should be an awful movie pretty fantastic.
I’m going to have a lot trouble not viewing them as Michael Scott and Liz Lemon, but I will still see this out of love for both of them.
I’m so excited for this movie! I’d see anything Steve Carell’s in.
I thought the first minute was hysterical and then it became an action film which is not really my thing. But love them and I will probably love this movie.
