Steve Carell in ‘Despicable Me’

Steve Carell stars in the 3-D animated film ‘Despicable Me.’ The movie co-stars Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Will Arnett, Kristen Wiig, and Julie Andrews.

Synopsis (from IMDb): A trio of orphan girls causes the normally deplorable Gru (Steve Carell) to rethink his plan to steal the moon.

Opens this Friday, July 9.

   i love all these animated movies coming out voiced by the best comics in the biz. it makes them a lot more fun for adults!

    I attended the red (really yellow) carpet, world premiere and after party on June 27 at LA Live downtown LA where I got to meet Steve, Kate, and Mindy. Steve’s wife took a picture of him and me. What an awesome time!!! It’s a movie I recommend for ages 5 to 95.

    I took my daughter to see this movie today and we both loved it! Steve was fantastic as Gru. What a great story for kids of all ages! I will definitely be adding this film to my collection of DVDs.
