Here’s a free sneak peek of 24: Season 8 at the iTunes Store!
The two-night, four-hour Season 8 premiere starts on Sunday, January 17th.
Yesss!! I was afraid crazy Martha killed him back in Season 6. What a great character, I just love to hate him. Of course, this is only my opinion, but I thought he was robbed of an Emmy back in Season 5.
Spoiler: guess who’s returning for Season 8!
‘24′ scoop
Season 8 premieres January 17, 2010.
Pretty disappointed that they didn’t show Renee going all Jack Bauer on Will Patton’s backside at the end. Jack will be fine, he’s Jack, but I wish they’d just have showed a little bit of Renee opening up a six pack of whoopass!

Can I please just say that I am very impressed that you would judge Tony based on his Cubs coffee mug. I feel the same way, how can he be a bad guy when he obviously roots for the good guys? His worlds are colliding!
Good episode last night. Since the episode with Tony’s reveal as a baddie, I’ve been holding out hope that he may be playing the bad guys again, but it’s not looking that way. Tony is dead to me. Ugh, and that terrorist girl he’s with? What would Michelle say? What would his Cubby mug say?
What could Tony possibly be up to? He’s been my 2nd favorite character (after JB of course), but now, not so much. If he really is bad, then that means he’s responsible for Bill’s death, & that makes my stomach churn. Jack needs to step it up & open up a can (or 6-pack) of whoopass on Tony!
OMG, what an episode last night!! First we get Kim back and then Tony?!?! Larry’s death was one of the creepiest to watch on the show. I knew with Tony’s soul patch and his scratchy, badass voice all season that he was up to no good! I just can’t see what his motives are.
Looks like Jack being exposed to the bio-weapon leak continues the trend…though nothing beats the Nina revelation.
I got a kick out of Jonas Hodge’s speech to the Starkwood board members, esp the part where he kept going “Fact… Fact… Fact” I kept picturing Dwight’s big head haha. Perhaps someone on the 24 writing staff is an Office fan?
[from tanster: lol. i haven't watched it yet, but i'm going to be giggling through it now. :) ]
#43 : I noticed that too.
The thing that happened just before 11pm in the last episode could actually be the biggest twist ever. We’ll see…
Very interesting, I didn’t know that!
Here’s an article I saw on TV Guide today:
24’s New Baddie Says, “Watch Me Kick Bauer’s Ass”
Excited for tonight’s 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM episode; something big always happens this hour:
Season 1 – Nina revealed as the mole
Season 2 – Mason’s death
Season 3 – Jack & Nina kiss
Season 4 – Air Force One is hit
Season 5 – Logan is evil
Season 6 – Cheng returns, Audrey not dead
So tonight we shall see if this trend continues…
I Braveheart…now that I think about it, you are exactly right. Also, after last night’s episode, they mentioned his death at least twice so I have officially given up. I can’t figure out Larry Moss, either. I know he doesn’t approve of Jack and his methods but I still can’t shake the feeling that he is up to no good. Maybe not…you never really know with this show!

I don’t think there’s any chance Bill survived because after his death they did the silent clock going into the next commercial. This is what 24 does for all major character deaths, but it didn’t happen with Tony’s “death,” and thus he is still alive.

Good call, 24. That would have been awful.
No one bothered to check Bill’s pulse so I am hoping that somehow, he survived…I know it’s pretty far-fetched but Jack isn’t the only one who watched Tony flatline two years ago and he miraculously survived. Poor Bill : (
RIP Bill.
Jon Voight’s character is insanely creepy. He says the weirdest lines: “Let’s play darts!”, “Have a drink”, “Now we’re having some fun.” WTH?!
Omigod. I was stunned. That was truly awful.
But one of the best episodes of 24 this season.
Aw. Poor Bill.
I totally agree with you Tanster! The giant image of the White House might have been a little too much. But other than that it was a fantastic 2 hours! What a great treat for my 24th birthday. Hahahaha.
And yes, this is a message to all phones out there: do not mess with Jack Bauer.
