Info: Head writer of the show “TGS with Tracy Jordan,” Liz Lemon juggles corporate interference from boss Jack Donaghy, temperamental stars, and an unpredictable crew of writers and assistants, all while attempting to salvage her own personal life.

The beginning of this episode was too much like the last one…it kinda confused me, I thought it was a rerun.

The past two episodes, “Dealbreakers Talk Show #0001″ and “Secret Santa” have been some of the best of the series. Liz crying out of her mouth was great and Tracy trying to be an EGOT was hilarious. More people need to watch this show!
30 Rock is a great show. Different from “The Office,” but it is still hilarious. Although a bit overrated, the characters all are really funny. Tracy, Jenna, Liz Lemon, ect. make this show a great one to watch. It’s my second favorite show, after “The Office,” of course.
It always seems like when The Office is below par, 30 Rock is hilarious, and vice versa. Or is it just me?
30 Rock zombies
I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m super excited for the 30 Rock premier this Thursday. Not nearly as excited as I was for the wedding mind you, but probably on par with how excited I was for the premier of The Office. It’s been so long!
On iTunes, they are selling the song’s video, with an opening by Tina Fey,for 99 cents, and all the proceeds go to the American Kindey Foundation. Run, 30 Rock Fans! Run, Kindney Fans! RUN!
If you had two dogs attacking you, you’d want just one.
The song at the end of the show made me laugh so hard. “When someone talks in the middle of a song, you know it’s serious.” lol!!
This + BBT + The office bring back funny…. Finally!
“Eatin’ my night cheese”
XD This show is hilarious!
He’s back! Hilarious.
I do watch Mad Men. I rented the DVDs of the first season on Netflix to see what the fuss was all about and totally fell in love. And now I’m catching up with the 2nd season since I don’t have AMC. Don Draper is one of the most interesting and complex characters ever written for TV, IMHO. So when I heard JH would be on 30 Rock, I was so psyched. Just like I was to find out that Tina Fey and Steve Carell will be doing a film together.
Do you watch Mad Men? That is probably my favorite show…I probably shouldn’t write this on an Office fansite. Anyways, yes, I agree, it is strange they are pushing it to the back– even if Jon Hamm isn’t available to film or something, they could at least have Liz freaking out about it…I wish I could remember where I saw that interview, but I honestly have no idea!
I hadn’t seen that interview with Jon Hamm. I am a huge fan of his as well, and actually, if it is really him, his twitter says that he was supposed to be in at least one more episode. There are celebrity imposters all over twitter, so I took it with a grain of salt. I just couldn’t imagine why they would want a Liz Lemon love interest storyline to take a back seat. Her love foibles are one of the more interesting aspects of the show! And Jon Hamm is white hot right now.
Desiree: I’ve noticed that as well. I saw an interview with Jon Hamm recently though (he plays the doctor) and he said he would be in I think 3 or 4 episodes– so he is definitely coming back. I think their story is just being pushed to the back for a few episodes.
I just finished watching the episode titled “Goodbye, My Friend” and noticed that for the 2nd week in a row, there was no Dr. Baird. Maybe there was and I didn’t catch it, but I didn’t really see that there was any closure to that storyline. What am I missing?
