Official website: Pushing Daisies
Info: From Bryan Fuller (Heroes, Wonderfalls) and Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black) comes a critically acclaimed series with an unprecedented blend of romance, fantasy and mystery — a forensic fairytale about Ned, a young man with a very special gift.

Seeing the episode on Saturday made me remember how much I miss this show. Boo to ABC for cancelling it!
1st of three new episodes of ‘Pushing Daisies’ airs tonight!
Set the DVR to record the May 30th episode today.
This pretty much broke my heart. Chuck and Ned are the cutest couple ever. Every line in the show was so expertly written and expertly delivered. ABC is insane.
ABC plans on airing the remaining episodes of Pushing Daisies May 30 through June 13 at 10 p.m. And it will be a 12 issue series at DC Comics.
Anyone else finding it DEEPLY irritating that abc cancelled Pushing Daisies, citing that the production costs were too expensive and it only appealed to a quirky fringe audience….only to replace it with this new show Better Off Ted….which looks like it has expensive production costs and will only appeal to a quirky fringe audience?
I mean, for goodness’ sake, at least PD has something of an established audience! Maybe we should all send bouquets of daisies to abc and see if it works like those fans who got Jericho back by mailing peanuts to the company.
For those of you interested in seeing the last three unaired episodes of PD, there will be a screening with Bryan Fuller on Sunday April 19th during Paleyfest. Here’s a link with more info.

I forgot to mention: I am soooo mad I could smush the ABC network with my Prius LOL!
21 . RIP Sprinkles: i know! the cast seemed so sad especially kristin chenoweth. i just got season 1 on DVD and am obsessed with it. they just ended on such a big cliffhanger and now there won’t be any more episodes till the SUMMER!!!??? it’s so annoying!! and even then, there’ll only be three and they probably won’t wrap up the plot lines. i don’t get why ABC just completely cut off pushing daisies… like, to the extreme. i’m so mad.
I wish that another network would pick it up! ABC saved “Scrubs,” and I understand that “King of the Hill” is going to a new network.
I hate that this show is being canceled! It has such an original story line with a great cast. And the colorful scenes and outfits are fantastic! ABc needs to give Pushing Daisies another chance! With the writers’ strike it’s understandable why viewers didn’t catch on right away. Ugh!!!
I guess this is the place to put my long-winded comment on the superbowl thing that didn’t belong there. Basically what I said is that The Office is getting kind of “tired” now, and Pushing Daisies is my favorite show. It’s too bad it’s getting cancelled.
Todd Packer was on the episode Wednesday! He was great too. I can’t believe there are only a few episodes left, it’s tragic!
Only four or five more episodes left :[
That’s so heartbreaking. It’s such an amazing show, I’m gonna miss having such a magical hour in the week.
The last two episodes, the one with the comfort food convention and then tonight’s, have been SO great. I just watch wondering why no one at ABC like whimsy :[ Eli Stone was similar in that sort of magical feel, abc… full of debbie downers :/
twis: I totally remembered her from wonderfalls and the office!
this show is so incredibly great. i will cherish the last few episodes we get.
*tear*
Did anyone see tonight’s episode? The lady from Muffin Buffalo played Dwight’s babysitter in the “Dinner Party” episode.
Also, she played the Muffin Buffalo lady on Wonderfalls, which was an awesome show that got cancelled a few years back. I think it’s hilarious that they brought her onto the show in the same character!
wow I can’t believe they are getting rid of this show… it is so fantastic! A completely original storyline and great acting. I love, love, love it. The directing and the sets are beautiful. Makes me very sad to see it go.
I cried too at the news. I was at the Paley writers panel for PD. While it wasn’t official and everyone was hoping for the best, we all still had that feeling that this might be the last time to say goodbye. Sure Bryan Fuller said there would be at least a comic book or a movie to tie up loose ends, but it’s not the same. I’m gonna miss having a good cry. If you like PD, you should also check out Fuller’s previous show “Wonderfalls”. That’s the great thing about being a fan of the show, in turn I’ve also become a fan of the writers and directors. After reading Paul Feig’s autobiographical books, I’m now watching “Freak and Geeks” in a different light. I’m a big fan of Strike.tv, and I even found Lester Lewis’ music page on Myspace. At least I hope that’s the real Lester Lewis, because he totally made my day when he left a comment on my page. Of course, who isn’t totally looking forward to Gene and Lee’s “Ghostbusters”.
I cried when I heard the news. :(
Easily one of the best and most original shows on TV with one of the cutest couples.
Thanks Tanster for mentioning Pushing Daisies! I hope the magical touch of new people watching the show will make it come back to life and be picked up for another season. (LOL … am I being too corny) It really is a such a great show! Tell everyone you can to watch it.
