This coming week is TV on DVD Gold Box Deals at Amazon. The Office Seasons 1-5 will be the deal on Thursday May 6th. The price right now is $105.49. I imagine the Gold Box deal will be similar to what it shows on this page ($87.99).

The Seasons 1-5 set is literally just all 5 season DVD sets in their normal packaging placed in a larger box.

I bought each season individually as they were released over the last few years. Is there any reason I should also buy the “deluxe” Seasons 1-5 set? Can anyone tell me if the Seasons 1-5 set has any bonus material with it that I don’t already have on each season’s separate individual DVD?

“Local Ad”: Commentary with B. J. Novak, Ed Helms, Leslie David Baker, Creed Bratton, Craig Robinson, Jason Reitman, and Anthony Ferrell

“The Desposition”: Commentary with Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer, Melora Hardin, Brian Baumgartner, Ed Helms, Lee Eisenberg

“Did I Stutter?”: Commentary with Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer, Leslie David Baker, Kate Flannery, Justin Spitzer, Brent Forrester, Gene Stupnitsky, and Randall Einhorn

Only 4 episodes, but it still a shame they don’t put that on the European version. I, personally, enjoy the commentaries a lot, too.

Hey guys, what episodes of season 4 have commentaries? The stupid European version doesn’t have any commentaries, which sucks – the commentaries are my favorite thing about the dvds!

that’s a sweet deal but i got mine back in september with a fun-run t-shirt, bottle & wristband….
also when season 4 came out the prices for the other 3 seasons dropped to $20 at circuit city and season 1 was only $15 (FYI)

Our local Target has it for $29.99 as well. I got the deluxe edition (with the 5th disk) for only $35.99 there back in September. :)
