‘The Office’ earns TCA nomination

“The Office” has earned a 2008 TCA (Television Critics Association) nomination in the category of Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.

Other nominees in the category include “30 Rock” (NBC), “The Colbert Report” (Comedy Central), “The Daily Show” (Comedy Central), and “Flight of the Conchords” (HBO).

The winners will be announced on Saturday, July 19th.

‘The Office’ has won this award the past two years. Congratulations on a third nomination!

   Um, wow, that list of nominees is perfection! Why can’t the Emmys get on that bandwagon? Congrats Office folks!

    Wow! No lie, those are probably my five favorite shows, as ken said, you can’t go wrong with any of them.

    It’s good to see Flight getting some recognition, it’s a great show.

    Goodness, that list is my Holy Grail of television comedies! If The Office doesn’t win, I’ll be happy for any of the other shows. I saw Bret and Jemaine in concert last week and definitely think they deserve the recognition.

    All of the comedy nominees are awesome! Although I’m kinda sad Steve was not nominated for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Comedy (or w/e it’s called)

    As a member of the Colbert Nation I would enjoy seeing them win…BUT the office also deserves it. So does jon stewart…hmm.
