As far as Craig and Melora missing, I believe Craig was bumped up this season to series regular right? I know SAG has some requirement that they can appeal for cast nominations if they’ve been in six episodes in the new season or something like that (i.e. what happened to Creed last year). I’m not sure if Melora was demoted since we haven’t really seen her so far this season…
16 | Jules Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 3:26pmi’m at work right now, so I am doing the Running Man in my head. GO OFFICE!! =)
15 | DunderMifflinDee Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 2:30pmI noticed that about Craig and Melora missing too. I hope it is just an oversight and will be corrected by the time awards are presented.
14 | LZW Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 12:29pmHooray! Congratulations to everyone!
13 | Pooch Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 12:23pmAmanda - I thought the same thing. Craig Robinson also isn’t listed. I thought they determined this by who’s credited as being regular castmembers but maybe because they both haven’t been in as many eps as the others they aren’t included in the list this time?
In any case, yes, they are definitely the greatest ensemble on TV. I really hope they win (and Steve does too) and if they do I wonder who’ll give the speech? Steve gave a great speech last year.
12 | mg714 Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 10:57amI am so happy for everyone on The Office!! I am sure that they will win both awards, I love The Office cast, yeah, yeah, yeah!!!
11 | Helen Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 10:56amCongratulations! The best cast ever. :)
10 | Stephanie C. Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 10:50amThis is awesome news, and I SO hope they win again this year. But I’m disturbed by the fact that Melora Hardin’s name is missing from the list. Does anyone know why this might be? She is obviously a vital part of the ensemble cast…why wouldn’t she be included in the nomination? She was last year.
9 | Amanda Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 10:28amI’m so happy for them! They deserve all the awards
8 | TheOfficeB*tch Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 10:18amI am so happy for The Office, and I hope both the show and Steve take home the awards. A thought just came to me, what if this season really is over? If we have to wait until next September for new episodes, I wonder how award shows will handle that. There won’t be many episodes to pick from…
I guess that’s worst case scenario. Just something I was thinking…
7 | Alison Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 10:11amCrossing my fingers and hoping for a repeat because these people deserve it more than anyone. Not only are they great on screen, but they care about their fans and are honest-to-goodness nice people in real life.
6 | lemoñadé Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 10:01amfinally some awards love. It is about time. I actually think that “ensemble cast” is the true greatness of this show. It’s not so much about the individual performances, but how every single actor adds something special.
5 | tobykilledthisbird Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 9:59amI would hope that if there is not resolution of the strike by then that the WGA boycotts and pickets the SAG awards just as they are planning to do to the Globes, and likely the Oscars.
4 | Sarah Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 9:57amWoo hoo !! It would be awesome if they won the 2nd time in a row.
3 | music101girl Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 9:21amYay! Congrats! At least the Screen Actors Guild knows good comedy! Suck on that, Golden Globes! hehe. Too bad, no nods for Jenna, Rainn or John. Congrats to the entire cast! You guys deserve it! WOOHOO!!!
2 | Cher is Bonto Thu. Dec. 20, 2007 at 9:07amI agree. This cast is unbelievable.
I’m so happy for them. :D
