  1. if Steve does not win then i may start crying, i hope he does! i hope the cast win as well of course, they are awesome!

  2. Steve didn’t also submit for directing? And no Kathy Bates?

[from tanster: no, i didn’t see their names in those categories. for emmy experts, is there a minimum/maximum number of episode appearances required for the guest category?]

  3. I wonder if maybe Kathy Bates wasn’t put up in this category because the effort is going into a nomination for her work in Harry’s Law? I was kind of surprised they didn’t submit anyone from Search Committee (e.g. James Spader). Maybe they felt like they would be slighting people if they didn’t nominate everyone.

P.S. If Jenna submits Counseling, she could definitely earn a nomination – she was brilliant in that episode! It would be nice to see someone else from The Office at least get nominated.

  4. There is no minimum or maximum requirement to submit episodes in the guest category. Bates simply wasn’t submitted.
Oscar Nunez and Zach Woods also did not submit themselves.

  5. I will be so mad if Ed Helms doesn’t get a nom for Andy’s Play. He was amazing in that episode! And the entire season.

  6. if Steve Carell doesn’t win the Emmy this year, we will burn Utica to the ground :)

  7. I wonder what episodes the cast submitted? Glad to see they selected Andy’s Play for so many submissions– that was a good one.

  8. Steve’s last chance at this Emmy… I’m going to be extremely displeased if he doesn’t get it. He deserves it for his final episode alone!

  9. This is Steve’s last chance for his long deserved Emmy. If he doesn’t win i will be utterly speechless. If he wins, i will cry. I feel emotional just thinking about it. He better get a standing ovation.

And some other cast members better get supporting noms as well. It’s so unjust how nobody else is ever nominated.

  10. Is there a reason “Dwight Schrute: Acting Manager” isn’t up there for anything?

  11. Oh man I hope Rainn gets a double nomination for acting and directing!!

  12. If anyone could help me out, I’m trying to find the episodes that Steve submitted so I can watch them all before I cry when he wins the Emmy! Anybody that can help, I’d really appreciate it!
