  1. Replayed this three times just to see Jim’s “And what is going on??” LOL! Was having a crappy day, but that made me happy!

  2. Thanks for that, Tanster! One thing that I saw that has me intrigued is the very brief clip with Dwight, Pam, and Jim. “Pam’s Replacement” was so great with the three of them that I hope we get to see that dynamic again!

  3. Also, it looks like Cathy’s desk/Andy’s old sales desk is empty so looks like she’s officially gone.

  4. Haha! I’m excited for this one. Honestly I kinda like Nellie. A little but not that much. And she fits in the manager desk good. It looks like she might be a good fit.

  5. am I the only one that finds Catherine Tate funny? I think she’d be a great addition to the cast.

From her Spice girls bit, to her sleeping with hugh grant’s slightly uglier brother, to her penis speech…
She’s been hilarious so far, and she is great with all her camera looks. Reminds me of a more arrogant michael scott.

  6. I like Nellie too. In fact, I like her more than Andy as the manager, even though I still like him as a character. Erin/Andy rocks!

  7. I’m really looking forward to this episode. I love Andy and Erin so I can’t wait to see Andy try to get his girl back.

  8. Haha, that Jim part at the end – – hilarious. I was peeing my pants. A little bit of John came out there and i loved it.

  9. I love how Jim always kinda makes fun of the ‘documentary’ – like in the deleted scene from ‘Niagara’ when he and Pam arrive at the hotel and he starts narrating and Pam has to stop him!

  10. Catherine Tate is hilarious. I really hope she stays. I feel like unlike James Spader, she really adds something great to the show.

  11. For some reason, I thought the funniest part of this was when everyone raised their hands for the egg sandwich. I don’t know why that amused me so much!

  12. I keep hoping I will like Catherine Tate, but up until this point I don’t like her at all. She makes me cringe and not in a good way. :(

  13. @Erin

Thank you! I’ve been looking forward to seeing Andy and Erin get back together since the beginning of the season. Those two are just so cute and goofy together. I just hate how people dislike this couple. I mean c’mon, how can you not like them together?

  14. @16 Trent, you are not alone. Many people like Erin/Andy as a couple. The are the best comedy couple on TV.

Can someone psychoanalyze the hatred towards Erin and Andy? I don’t get that either.

  15. In the second promo I loved Dwight and Jim, but Nellie was TOTALLY UNFUNNY and she had lines that should have been good! At this rate I really hope she leaves soon!!!

  16. @pete,I believe that a major reason for the hatred of Andy/Erin might be the popularity of JAM. You said in an earlier post that you only started watching the show because of Andy and Erin, so you wouldn’t have had the comparison, but a lot of people can’t help comparing them, especially as Andy and Erin started happening as Jim and Pam were settling down, so it kind of felt like the writers were starting over again with a new romance. Except Andy and Erin were so comic that it kind of felt like a poor imitation. To my mind, the two couples don’t compare, but it doesn’t help that the storylines have been so similar. Erin being with Gabe who didn’t respect her was reminiscent of Pam and Roy, while the Jessica plotline echoed Jim and Karen. The writers made Andy and Erin very different from JAM, but their story wasn’t quite different enough.

You are very right. I am one of the few who watch The Office because of Andrin. (Is that the official ship name?)

I did go back and watch all the previous episodes off Netflix. I have to say JAM was an extremely well-writen piece of drama and I can see why people love them so much.

I do not think Andrin is an imitation though. Even with the same formula and all those parallels, the dynamics are just completely different. Perhaps the writers are trying to show that every couple is unique?
