GoldDerby nominates The Office

The GoldDerby, the awards forum of the L.A. Times and the same folks who sponsored the John Krasinski chat a couple of weeks ago, have come up with their own set of award nominations, and The Office garnered 11 of them:

• Comedy Series: The Office
• Comedy Lead Actor: Steve Carell
• Comedy Supporting Actress: Jenna Fischer
• Comedy Supporting Actor: John Krasinski
• Comedy Supporting Actor: Rainn Wilson
• Comedy Episode of the Year: Booze Cruise
• Comedy Episode of the Year: Casino Night
• Performer of the Year: Steve Carell
• Breakthrough Performer of the Year: Jenna Fischer
• Breakthrough Performer of the Year: John Krasinski
• Ensemble of the Year: The Office

   These look better than any critics picks so far. Oooh, this gets me hopeful on a possible Krasinski or Wilson nod!

   It’s great to see them get nominated for all sorts of these smaller awards. Hopefully it will help them out come emmy nomination time!
