‘The Office’ honors Nathan Robinson
Saturday, April 5th, 2008During Thursday night’s closing credits for the episode ‘Local Ad,’ the words “In Memoriam Nathan Robinson” appeared below a video of a young man playing ‘The Office’ theme song on the piano.
Nathan was a high school freshman who lived in Newton, MA and loved playing the piano and watching ‘The Office.’ He died last month due to complications from the flu.

I was smiling and thoroughly enjoying the video of the young man playing the theme song so beautifully, and was instantly brought to tears when the words “In Memorium” appeared. My heart broke for his family.

My prayers are with Nathan’s family. He has touched so many people just from that video. Now whenever I hear the theme music, I think of Nathan playing the piano.

That’s so sad. From those articles Nathan sounds like an amazing kid and I’m sure he is sorely missed. Kudos to The Office for continuing their tradition of being the show most appreciative of their fans.
