I was smiling and thoroughly enjoying the video of the young man playing the theme song so beautifully, and was instantly brought to tears when the words “In Memorium” appeared. My heart broke for his family.

What a touching tribute to a young man. I admire NBC for doing that.

My prayers are with Nathan’s family. He has touched so many people just from that video. Now whenever I hear the theme music, I think of Nathan playing the piano.

This is so sad! It’s so sweet they played this in the credits. And yes #28, Newton MA is where John and B.J grew up. I’m guessing one of them knows his family, because everyone knows everyone in New England.

That is heartbreaking. I had to hold back the tears. What a nice way for them to honor him. He would have been thrilled, I think.

I was delighted to see this young man playing The Office theme on his piano. The In Memoriam broke my heart. Condolences to his family. May Nathan rest peacefully in God’s hand.

That’s so sad. From those articles Nathan sounds like an amazing kid and I’m sure he is sorely missed. Kudos to The Office for continuing their tradition of being the show most appreciative of their fans.

Thank you for posting about Nathan, Tanster. I have been wondering about him since seeing the dedication. I agree with the other Tallyheads that this was a classy move by the producers and it increases my absolute adoration of The Office.

My condolences to the family and friends of Nathan. Our world is a poorer place without him.
