NBC Primetime Preview videos!

Why wait until September 2nd to watch NBC’s Primetime Preview, hosted by The Office, when you can watch it right now?

Just another wacky day at Dunder Mifflin. (Oh yeah, and new NBC shows.)

Update: Here’s an Office-only video compilation, courtesy of VietNamSounds over at the NBC Boards.

  1. hmm…
are those taking from episodes or are they taped specially for this?

    but they were pretty funny

  2. Yay thank you for those. Are they clips from season 3? In the second one, Jim calls Pam “Beesley”…?! Can anyone tell if she was still wearing a ring? Pam doesn’t seem like the type that would keep her last name.

  3. Some funny stuff, nothing amazing. Maybe the standard is set so high now. Didn’t Michael do a Rob Schneider impersonation last season too? I also think the actors all look a little bit better…more makeup, better hair…not sure it this is just for the promo or a sign of things to come. Let’s hope they stay as drab looking as ever.

  4. Cool! These were great. Better than the webisodes (which I am not dissing…I appreciate anything new from the Office to get us through the long somber summer.) “Prepare to be wowed”, says Jim. I am so ready for September.

  5. Yeah, i agree w/ tanster that these look like the were filmed specifically for the preview show. And yes, they all looked better. Uh, Jim? Nice. And the saltine cracker bit? Loved it! So cute!

  6. “Thirteen inches in my bedroom.” LMAO

Hilarious! If the new season is like this… good.

  7. Those were really cute. If only they didn’t interrupt it with those pesky OTHER shows in between.

  8. I’m a mac user and the videos are totally not working. Can anyone tell me what plug-in/ player I need to download? It’s very frustrating!

    Thanks! I *love* the site!

  9. To Courtney. I also have a mac and I use Flip4Mac, which you can get at http://www.flip4mac.com/ I think then you have to go to system prefs to activate it to play when wmv files are being played. Then you have to restart your browser. The clips are loading slowly for me, but I am getting them. Sorry, it was a long time since I got the program. I hope that helped.

  10. Thank you for posting these clips for us, Jennie! I (we) appreciate it. I loved seeing the main cast members again in something other than reruns. :-)

  11. I love it! It’s almost like having a new episode. Almost. Dwight may be my favorite person ever, “Dogs are for companionship–and meat.”

  12. garbagethrower: I wondered the exact same thing! ;)

Neil: THANK YOU for saying that! I knew I had heard or read about the 911 thing somewhere else, but I couldn’t remember where, and it was driving me crazy …

  13. Me too (knew I’d heard/read it before) – thanks, Neil.

And I know a lot of cast members are into this site and NA, but haven’t heard about the writers…it’s awesome to think that some of our ideas might end up in episodes.

  14. Oh, nice! Thanks for posting these. I thought I would have to wait untill September 2nd (seems sooo long) to c atch these. I should have known OfficeTally would have ’em early! This site rocks.

Oh, and I loved that “THE TEMPINATOR!” line! Haha.

  15. Wow.. so the new clip totally cut out the Sunday night football bit. I am glad though because I really didn’t want to hear that annoying song again. Sorry for the multiposts.

  16. Go here to get the third video.

For some reason it’s different from the direct link in the post above. It’s longer, with a hilarious bit about “Kidnapped” featuring a Jim/Pam conspiracy against the bobblehead, and it doesn’t freeze up like the other.

  17. I just noticed that Dwight’s rant about dogs dialing 9-1-1 is eerily similar to Paul Lieberstein’s brief blog on August 6th on MySpace. Check it out! (I guess we know who wrote that talking head segment.)

  18. Colin mentioned it before, but Michael’s “Thirteen inches in my bedroom” made me laugh so much. It is all in the delivery and the look to the camera. The kidnapping of the bobblehead is also pretty awesome.

  19. anyone notice the magazine that Pam was “reading”? Tomorrow’s Bride….
Ugh. I wish the season would hurry up and start!!! I want to know what happens!

  20. what’s going on? these must be clips from upcoming episodes? how can nbc show so much of them. well jim obviously didn’t transfer then.

  21. ah. excellent. kinda like the webisodes, though, because, whereas the webisodes and that were like pot, what i really want is crack. (season three for those among us who don’t understand figurative language.)
Ok, so theres a ring on Pam’s finger, but I haven’t gone and watched and old episode to see if its the same ring or a new one. (Im such a loser). At any rate, I probably wont get that done for at least a few days, so, catch 22.
    J

  22. Oh thank god for the new link for #3, it was killing me not knowing what the Bobblehead thing was.

  23. It probably wasn’t that funny in itself, but Kevin’s delivery on “Ryyyyyannnnn making co-pies” had me rolling, especially the little sigh he lets out when he realizes no one is listening.

30 Rock looks good, even though I friggin hate Alec Baldwin

  24. Surely the clips were filmed just for inclusion in the preview show itself. I am not putting too much stock in any hints they’re dropping (ring on finger, magazine Pam’s reading, Jim sitting at his desk, etc.). I could definitely see them including those things just because they know fans of the show (like us :-) will be looking for exactly those things. There’s no timeline, so for all we know, these “episodes” could be taking place months ago. I don’t see them having any relevance for the next season.

    Stay strong, Dwight :-)

  25. My guess is that these take place after Drug Testing (due to Dwight’s line that he used to be a volunteer sheriff) and before “Conflict Resolution”.

  26. I think Loaded Teapot was right – someone over at the LJ community also said that these scenes were filmed specifically for the NBC Primetime Preview show. I don’t know if it’s been confirmed by someone more “official,” but I’m pretty sure it’s true.

  27. Not sure if anyone has noted this before… Did anyone notice that Vance Refrigeration is located on the same floor as Dunder-Mifflin? At the end when they are waiting for the elevator you can see the sign at their door.

  28. I love the saltine bit becasue when Dwight spits out the crackers I don’t think anyone was expecting them to fly that far – John, Jenna and Angela’s reactions are too funny.

The “ropes” around the bobblehead being rubberbands – HA! Stay Strong, Dwight!
