  1. Awesome news! Who would have thought a series with Michael Scott would obtain such prestige from the NAACP?

  2. Well I can understand “Branch Wars” being nominated by the NAACP, since it features our favorite “hilarious black guy in the office,” but why “Phyllis’ Wedding?”

  3. Oh I see, it’s not necessarily about the content of the episode, but because the nominees are people of color.

  4. Oh what I wouldn’t give to see Michael Scott accept this award on behalf of his, ahem, bruddas.

Congrats especially to Mindy for writing unquestionably my favorite episode of Season Four (thus far).

  5. That has Extra awesome! I love Branch Wars because it has that nice old time slapstick sitcom feel to it but it has the modern comedy that we’re used to seeing on the Office. It’s great that Mindy is being reconized for it!

  6. Congrats to Mindy and Ken! Hopefully Mindy will get name checked by Jay Z soon!
