I have this sneaking feeling that tonight Jim and Pam will show up with wedding bands on. No hoopla, no big announcement, just maybe something like Jim’s at reception talking to her with his hands on her desk, and then she puts her hands up there and the camera notices, and cuts to it. Then it cuts to a talking head of them together or of just Jim explaining his side or Pam explaining her side. I’m not sure either one cares that much of people in the office actually see them get married, and since this is “the office,” the camera doesn’t get to follow them everywhere and they could have had a subtle wedding.

Meredith had a hysterectomy and Phyllis is post-menopausal. Neither of them are pregnant. If anyone is pregnant, it has to be Angela,Kelly,Jan or Pam.

I really like the Stanley’s daughter is pregnant theory! Plus it would explain why Stanley’s been so grumpy lately (he’s really ticked off about this new development- cameras somehow find out about it in the finale.)

I won’t go so far as to guess that Ryan is the father (which would be his brush w/ the law) – too soap opera-esque.

I, for one, am not really worried about the whole pregnancy thing. The Office is 2 for 2 in season finales, so I am confident they’ll hit it out of the ballpark once again. Even if it’s been a subpar season, the finales are something they know how to handle. That and Christmas episodes.

My guess, if there is to be a pregnancy it will be Jan. This will be revealed in a similar fashion to the boob job. Michael might hit it off with the new HR lady, only for Jan to waltz into the office rocking a full pregnant tummy. Cue disaster as Michael’s newly found happines is scuppered with the burden of dealing with a hormonal and now even crazier Jan.

Jan is totally the one pregnant. It makes sense. Ok, the first episode back from the strike was Dinner Party. Michael and Jan break up after that episode and she goes off to stay with her sister. Didn’t they say the next episode after Dinner Party would jump ahead in time? So that means that quite a bit of time has passed since Dinner Party and now. Jan hasn’t been in any of the episodes following dinner party because she is going to come back in the finale sporting a nice round baby bump! That’s why she hasn’t been in the episodes. Her belly is growing and we can’t see it til the finale. That has to be it. It makes sense.

1. Pam is not leaving Dunder Mifflin, Jenna already told us that she and Steve aren’t leaving. But I guess she could get a graphic design job at DM.

I doubt Jim will be fired or promoted but there probably be some drama with his job. Pulling Jim and Pam out of the office is a bad idea. Think about what the show would be like if they weren’t in Scranton. The writers wouldn’t do that to us.

2. I don’t think Pam is pregnant. The Korbi article says “I will say that this pregnancy has the potential to change everything. And it’s also hilariously funny, too … That is, if you find comedy in hopeless situations that are anchored in deceit and despair, as I do!” Why would it be hilarious if Pam was pregnant? Jan and Phyllis being pregnant is hilarious. The word deceit makes me think that Hunter is involved if Jan is pregnant.

yes. you can read all about it in the season 5 spoilers section of office tally.

i am also perplexed by everyone’s conviction that someone is leaving at the end of the season to go start the spin off. there has been NO indication that the 2 things are related. there has been SPECULATION about ed helms leaving but that is more kristen at e! saying “wouldn’t that be great!”

in the interview with meredith (link at the top of this page) she says as far as she knows no one is going to the spin off. so yeah, it is all just speculation, you didn’t miss anything.

My predictions about the whole pregnancy thing based on previous episodes and Dwight’s flow chart…
-Although Michael did have a vasectomy, they are not 100% so it could be Jan (or it could be Jan pregnant with Hunter’s baby, which doesn’t seem all that absurd).
-It more than likely is not going to be Phyllis or Meredith because Dwight’s chart has them as post-menopausal.
-I don’t think it will be Angela -would be hilarious though- because I think that would just be cruel of the writer’s to make Angela Kinsey wear the whole fake pregnant belly just after being pregnant (even if it wouldn’t be for a while).
-It very well could be Pam. According to Dwight’s flow chart Pam’s period is the first of the month, so if she missed her period…well yeah…anyway.
-Quite frankly though, I think it Kelly just because it is the least obvious.

Can I ask a question? I’m honestly confused. Could someone who believes that the person who is “leaving” in the season finale is the person who will be in the spin-off explain why they think that? The spin-off does not happen until January, and many people have left The Office before and come back (Jim left at end of S2, was back before Christmas in S3, Andy left and came back, Oscar went on “vacation” and came back, Dwight was fired and back in what, an episode?) Spin-offs usually involve a peripheral character, not a major one. I’m just not getting the leap, I’m sorry. Can someone help? Did I miss a spoiler? Please? :D
