For Jim’s 30th birthday, Pam surprised him with tickets to what event? Be as specific as possible.

(Answer: courtside Philadelphia 76ers basketball tickets in Phoenix. Given the wording of my question, however, I would’ve also accepted “nothing” as the answer, as Pam never actually gave Jim the tickets.)

  61. I’m not really sure if this is supposed to be a trick question…

Pam’s says that she was GOING to surprise Jim with tickets to the Philadelphia 76ers, but when she bought the tickets she found out it was an away game.

So my answer is that for Jim’s 30th birthday Pam bought him courtside tickets to the Philadelphia 76ers but he never actually got surprised by them because Pam never gave them to him. So nothing. Pam surprised Jim with tickets to nothing on his 30th birthday.

  62. Pam surprised Jim with tickets to the NBA team Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers, courtside seats. The problem was they were away tickets, in Phoenix.

  63. The Philadelphia 76ers, courtside seats but they never went because it was an away game.

  64. I see two possible answers to this question.

    2. Nothing because Pam never actually surprised him with them.

I’m really not sure. I’m leaning towards two.

  67. In the 2nd most recent episode, “Roy’s Wedding.” (Premiered September 27th, 2012) While in the car after having seen that Roy is up for surprises, Pam says, “We still surprise each other.” Jim agrees. Pam then “reveals” that she planned to surprise him on his 30th birthday with courtside basketball seats, but it turned out it was an away game in Phoenix. But Jim already knew this, so Pam wonders if they know everything about each other, and asks Jim to tell her one thing about him she doesn’t already know. Jim is about to reply with confidence but he can’t think of one, and has an awkward pause.
