I'm dying to know his idea. Though it pains me beyond belief to think about, I guess someday we'll most likely find out. And to me, it's very sad to think about the idea of The Office with a different cast. But I was so sure that the show couldn't get more perfect after Season 2 ... then along came Ed Helms, and now Andrew Bernard is my favorite character. I was a big fan of ER early-on, and the original/early cast and characters were a major part of that. For me, it was more about being invested in the characters' lives, rather than in the day-to-day medical stuff. So after about season 5,, I stopped watching all together. I didn't like the idea of having to get to know a whole new set of characters. I think it's the same with The Office- I mean the office-based humor is great, but I think we (and they) have put too much energy into this group of people. But I like it, I would love to see The Office go on for a very long time, and Andy & Erin have been a great addition, so I know The Office would be in good hands for years to come.
