  1. kinda silences rumblings that michael said “i acquit” or something along those lines.

  2. I am really curious to see how they deal with Michael quitting. There are a million different ways this could pan out. I am pumped! :)

Also, that Dwight quote was magnificent. “He’ll be dead in a week.” LOL

  3. I wouldn’t be surprised if Michael arranged himself for Hank to escort him out of the building – LOL! Looking forward to next week’s episode.

  4. Wow. I can’t wait. I really want to see how Jim handles all of this because of the whole Charles not liking him thing.

  5. I wonder how they’ll handle this management switcheroo….

Will Jim become Regional Manager? That would be very interesting because Charles hates him…

I don’t think they’ll make Dwight manager because they already did that in The Job, and you can’t top Schrute Bucks…

Or will they use an outside Hire?

I guess we can only wait….

  6. I think it’s important to note that I think Charles is only signed on for 2 episodes, so he’s not sticking around. I’m guessing he quits, David makes Michael VP and Jim takes over the branch. You heard it here first ladies and gentlemen.

  7. Did not look like Pam was leaving with Michael (YAY! I hope.). Perhaps Dwight will, with his belief that Michael will not survive outside those walls.

  8. I think that they are gonna make Charles the boss, at least for a while. I’m sure that the employees, even Stanley would end up missing Michael and they get him back somehow. I dunno, sounded good to me.

  9. @ #8 Long Tim- I don’t know where you got your information from because I’d love to quote your synopsis of upcoming events to be correct, but I can’t because Idris signed on for 6 episodes not 2.

  10. Sorry, I thought I remember reading that he would only be there for 2. Either way, I expect Michael to be in every episode and be back at DM by season’s end.

  11. “This is a dream..that I have had since lunch”

I’m sure going to miss Michael :(

  12. Either way Michael is definitely not gone forever. Unless they go for outside hire, I definitely think Wallace will go ahead and put Jim in charge. VP being in charge is a possibility but I am seriously hoping not (every time I saw him I wanted to hit him in the face). Hopefully Jim in charge for a few episodes and Michael returns.

  13. Jim in charge of the office would definitely bring the static level up in terms of his relationship with Charles. That being said, there is no show without Michael and I anticipate him coming back at the end of the episode, much like Dwight did at the end of The Return.

  14. any feel like maybe they might bring Ryan back. I know he did some pretty unethical things but it seems the NYC office likes to bring in b*#*# busters.

  15. Ryan is coming back, but I can’t see how they could have him be in any position of power. He was arrested for fraud.

  16. “Once Michael leaves these walls, he’ll be dead in a week.” LOL! I can’t wait til tomorrow!!!!! It will be very interesting to see how this will all pan out.

  17. I know fraud anywhere else would be logical. But they did have him back as a temp and Wallace had to know he was working for the company again.

Maybe I am just grasping for straws.
