Why Ed Helms is a mensch

TV Squad is reporting a lovely little story of how Ed Helms (”Andy”) came to the rescue of a partygoer who had apparently fainted:

[Ed] kind of took the lead on the whole operation, trying to flag down a bartender to tell him that the woman needed medical attention — the bartenders just stood there and stared, not knowing what to do — all the while trying to help us get her to the couch … Ed did a great job of making her feel better, engaging her in conversation and making funny but sympathetic jokes about her fainting spell and about how no one really noticed …

Andy may be psycho, but Ed is a gentleman.

   Ed Helms is a nice guy. Of course, Andy is a douche.. but he’s just a character on a TV show.

   I went to high school with Ed (and Brian Baumgartner, for that matter). He’s a good guy, I mean, wouldn’t most nice normal people do that for someone? Yay Ed. I hope we haven’t seen the last of Andy…

   I’ve loved Ed Helams since his reports on The Daily Show, but this just makes it that much sweeter.

   This is just a question…My friend was in Hawaii last week and thinks she saw and talked to Ed Helms. He reluctantly admitted it was him. Anyone know if he was really there?

   Ed is such a sweet guy. THE OFFICE seems to have the nicest casts of all the other tv shows out there. I’ve never heard anything about arguements within the cast or anything like that. It’s nice to know that there are celebrities out there that REALLY are nice people. Great story!

    That’s not surprising since they would want to get to 100 episodes for syndication.

    What scares me though is did he mean ONLY 2 more seasons?
