  1. I’ve seen several previews for this movie, but this is the first one I’ve seen with John in it… gotta admit, I didn’t want to see it until I knew he was in it. :)

  2. Yeah, I’m going to see it even though I don’t like Alec Baldwin LOL

Tanster, I love the Christmas banner! It’s so cute!

  3. @1, Christine, me too!!
When I was a little kid, I never understood why people wanted to see movies for actors. I was all about the story. But now, since a couple of years, I’m also all about the actors… and the story! But this movie: ONLY for John…and also my mom. She will love this one!

  4. Looks cute. I’ll probably wait for the DVD.

But what is it with John and those gray sweaters?

  5. @3, HarveyTheComputer, same for me!
I definitely showed my mom this (she’s a big Meryl Streep fan) and she agreed to go see it with me when it comes out. yay. I’m a big Meryl fan as well, but I gotta admit I really want to see John in it. Plus it looks hilarious.

  6. This movie looks like it has too much alec baldwin and not enough John Krasinski. I think I will have to rent this one.

  7. John K. as the son of Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin? I like it! He and Alec have a similar hair thing going on.

  8. When I saw the ads for this on TV, I saw the great cast they had and still wasn’t interested. Then I saw John and well…..became interested. LOL!

To be honest, though, the TV trailer looks much better than this full trailer. The full trailer has me thinking that I’ll wait until it’s on DVD or something. But the final scene in the full trailer is hilarious.

  9. LOL! I’m so on board with this movie!!! I saw Meryl Streep in Julie and Julia and LOVED her and of course this movie has JOHN KRASINSKI!!! :D

  10. I saw this preview at the movie theater last week with my also Office-obsessed friend and we both said we will see it as soon as it comes out, primarily for John….but it does look like a great movie.

  11. Totally going to see this movie! Meryl Streep rules! John Krasinski in it is a total added bonus. On a side note, John doesn’t actually play Meryl’s son he plays her future son-in-law about to get married to her oldest daughter.

  12. It looks like Meryl Streep is going to stay with Alec Baldwin, instead of Steve Martin. YUCK!!! Why can there be movies where the girl stays with the goofy guy, Pretty Pink all over again.

  13. I absolutely adore John (especially in a Santa hat, seriously, could he be any cuter?). But he’s used that “up-and-coming actors” joke for every interview for every movie he’s been in, from License to Wed to Leatherheads to this one. It’s getting a little old.

As for the movie, I’ve been excited about this one for a while. Nancy Meyers is the queen of romantic comedies, The Holiday is one of my all time favorite movies, and the cast seems amazing, so I can only assume it’ll be awesome.

  14. Definitely going to see this movie. I’ve been watching John’s movies lately and I just can’t wait to see him in something new!

  15. Wait a second, wait a second. John just told us the sex of Jim and Pam’s baby! He said “He’s not a good enough actor!” when talking about casting the baby. Am I really behind and everyone else already knew it was a boy or did John just slip up big time?

  16. Geez, I watch The Today Show every morning. How did I miss this? Honestly, this is not a movie I feel the need to see in the theater, and if John wasn’t in it, I probably wouldn’t give it a second thought. Perhaps I’ll be able to talk the hubby into renting it when it comes out on video.

@17-My impression was that John was joking about casting the baby, and he probably said “he” in a generic way. JMO.

  17. I will always be smitten with Krasinski. The Santa hat just pushed me over the smitten edge.

  18. Wow Meredith said his name wrong at the end :(

    17 – I think he was just saying that as a joke, but we’ll see…. I’m still gonna hope it’s a girl!

  19. “krinski”??? good job meredith…

yeah, maybe he let the sex of the baby slip. hmm… time will tell!

  20. I went and saw a sneak preview of the movie tonight. Honestly, it was just an OK movie–John was definitely the best part of it though. People in the theater were laughing though, which is always a good sign.

  21. Damn! Now I’m pretty sure that baby tuna is gonna be a boy. I’m kind of disappointed, because every show that I watch always have baby boys (Lost, Bones, X-Files, Heroes…)
I want a baby girl! But, hey, I’ll say what my father said: “As long as the baby’s healthy!”

  22. hi guys! I just went to the premiere of it’s complicated and met and saw john twice!! I was able to get his autograph and a picture with him, it was awesome. tanster I’m not sure how but if you want me to post the picture I can :)

  23. Just saw the movie and it was great! Loved John Krasinski, but who wouldn’t? My favorite part: When “Harvey?” (John) was in the women’s shirt and pajama pants! Classic. AWESOME MOVIE!
