The two-hour special will air live on Monday, December 31, beginning in primetime from 10-11pm ET, and continuing from 11:30pm-12:30am ET with the first performances of the New Year.

Angela Kinsey (NBC’s “The Office”) will join Daly with live reports from the heart of Times Square among the one million spectators.

For the most up to date New Year’s Eve and backstage news, Daly and Kinsey will also live tweet the event from @carsondaly and @angelakinsey.

Angela Kinsey stars in Fox pilot ‘Dirty Blondes’

From Deadline.com:

… a comedy starring Rachael Harris (Hangover) and The Office‘s Angela Kinsey has gone to Fox with a put pilot commitment. Zombieland helmer Ruben Fleischer is set to direct the project, created by Stacy Traub (Glee), Harris and Kinsey and to be written by Traub. Titled Dirty Blondes, the comedy, from 20th Century Fox TV, is based on the real life long-time friendship of Kinsey and Harris. It centers on two women who’ve been friends for 16 years. Both get divorced and are brought closer together by the experience. Traub and Fleischer executive produce, with Harris and Kinsey co-executive producing.

Congratulations, Angela!

P.S. Here’s Wikipedia’s definition of a put pilot.
