Only that one time when she was on, and not since. :)

DrunkBiking: People still watch Carson Daly? I can’t believe that show is still on the air. That being said, i’d watch any show when Jenna Fischer is on.

I don’t think the interview was too bad. I mean, they always seem forced because they ARE, but this one seemed to be a little more relaxed or whatever. I liked her dress, too.

Aw, I love Jenna. Please don’t get me wrong. I think that she’s adorable. I think that I just didn’t care for the interview, that’s all. :)

There’s actually not an actor on the show that I don’t like, they all seem very down to earth.

Jenna seems like the most real person on that show. She takes the time to keep up that MySpace page and interact with her fans. I am not sure why people think that interview seemed forced, it seemed very natural to me. That is just my 2 cents. You rock Jenna!!!!!!

wow, i think you’re being way too hard on her. she’s adorable and sweet and seems like a fairly real person.

As she said on her blog, with Craig she doesn’t have to get her stories straight and be super prepared, she was able to just be more herself. Craig is a conversationalist and can just talk about anything. It reminded me of an interview she did on Carson Daly about a year ago when also then she seemed to be relaxed and herself.

Well, obviously she isn’t Pam. I just think that maybe she’s trying a little too hard to make us see that. I agree that the dress is more appropriate for an event rather than an talk show interview.

i think it was a cute, fun interview much like others she’s done. i was distracted by her dress, i was honestly terrified she was about to fall out of it. i know celebrities have tricks for that kind of thing, but i was so scared for her. she looks great in that kind of dress for the red carpet, but i think i’d be a little more careful during interviews.

as far as her “trying too hard” to separate herself from pam? i think you guys are over reacting. she IS different than pam. she doesn’t have to try.

One more thing- I think that the reason that I didn’t enjoy the interview overall is because I’m not a big Craig F. fan. I’m sure that if she would have been on Leno or Conan I would have laughed more and gotten a better sense of the real Jenna.

Don’t get me wrong, I thought that Jenna looked great. She’s a beautiful girl. I just thought that the dress was a little distracting. If you read through the posts a lot of people commented on her appearance rather than the interview itself. I think that Jenna is great, I just hoped that I would have the same connection with the real Jenna as I have had with her Pam character.

I know that you can’t judge a person based on a quick interview on a talk show so I’m hoping to see more of her in the future.

I thought her dress was stylish and sophisticated, and that Jenna carried off cleavage with class. To me, her dress was tasteful, and it looked great on her. In fact, I thought Jenna looked absolutely stunning in the interview.

I love Jenna, she’s so bubbly without being overbearing. I think she makes a great talk show guest. When I was watching the interview, I just sat back and enjoyed watching and getting to know the actress who plays one of my favorite TV show characters. She didn’t disappoint me at all.

I didn’t see how she was trying too hard to prove that she’s not Pam, or how the interview was forced. Maybe Jenna really is nothing like Pam, and if so, I don’t have a problem with that. If anything it makes me respect her more for being able to completely pull off acting as someone entirely different from herself. Also, I can appreciate both Jenna, and Pam. They’re two different persons anyway, one’s real, the other’s fictional.

Although, I understand what it’s like to wish actors or actresses were more like some of the characters they play/have played. It’s somewhat disappointing when you see what the actors are really like, because it sort of spoils the character for you.

I agree with you Pam fan. I watched the interview on CF last night and I was a little let down to see that she’s obviously trying to show us that she’s not like her Pam character. I found the interview to be a little forced. I dunno, I don’t think that I’m a big fan of CF, he kind of annoys me. While I do think that Jeanna looked pretty her dress was a little over the top. I think I’m just a much bigger fan of her character, for some reason I felt disappointed after the interview.

  14. 30. DrunkBiking

I find Jenna more interesting than Pam personally, Pamfan. Pam is a great character, but sometimes a little too passive and slow. Jenna is a multi-talented comic actress who has energy to spare, it’s like Pam minus Pam’s faults. :)

  15. 29. Pam fan

I love the Pam Beesley character. She really makes The Office for me. The more I see of Jenna though, the more I realize they are not the same! It’s interesting to learn more about the people behind the characters, and I think Jenna’s work is just fantastic. But seeing all we did of her on this interview was just TOO much. I guess she wants people to know she’s NOT Pam Beesley. OK, I can deal with that. But I’m also losing interest in her as a person and am finding what I’m really a fan of is the character she plays on The Office and not her as a person. Sorry! Anyone else having a problem with this?

  16. 28. not Karen

She needs to be aware of her posture. I notice it on The Office too, she sort of walks a little hunched. The dress was okay, but with a body like that she should hire a stylist. This appearance was way better than her appearance on Letterman. She was more relaxed. Her hubby’s a riot.

That filthy scottish dog! Try as he might he could not keep himself from staring at her rack. What a lecher!!

  18. 26. DrunkBiking

If this was Krasinski, fans would make Hi def screenshots of him. JF fans need to step up. :)

  19. 25. Jen

OMG I knew Karen was the next to go!

  20. 24. That's what she said ...

Thank you so much Tanster for the link! I would never cross over to Team Karen, but I think they do their makeup specifically to make them look pasty, so they both probably look better outside of The Office (although I find Karen looks about the same either way).

The MySpace page was entertaining too!
