The Office honored as an AFI top TV show

The Office has been honored by the AFI (American Film Institute) as one of the top TV shows of 2006.

Here is the complete list of AFI TV Programs of the Year:

• The Office

• The West Wing
• The Wire

It’s awards season, folks, and I think The Office is going to do quite well. :)

   I’m crossing my fingers for a lot of Golden Globe noms on Dec. 14th. Steve for Lead, John and Rainn for supporting, Jenna for supporting, Best Show, Best Writing, etc

   I hope they get tons of noms. I hope all this critical acclaim is only the beginning. They truly deserve it.

   It’s so awesome that The Office got nominated. What is even better that Little Miss Sunshine got nominated for Film of the year. I sure hope that wins as well, Steve did an awesome job in that and that movie is all around an GREAT movie. Loved every minute of it.

   The list for TV is great, but the lack of The Fountain on the film list is terrible.

   I’m also really happy that Little Miss Sunshine made it on the top films list! — it was definitely one of my favorite movies of the year.

   Usually the AFI “best of” lists just make me mad, and seemed to be created for no other reason than to start fights.

   However, this time, they seemed to have gotten things right.
