i missed the last 10 minutes of the Office, can someone help me out plz
YAY! this has made for the most-perfect-day-without-new-office-episode EVER! plus, its my birthday, so doubly awesome!
I’ve kind of hated myself for continuing to watch Grey’s. It’s just bad, but there’s nothing better on - except now there’ll be Scrubs and 30 Rock - YAY! Now if there was only something to replace the suckfest that has become Lost!
For what it’s worth, I’m a guy and I don’t watch Grey’s Anatomy either. Scrubs, on the other hand, is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows (I’m catching up on old Scrubs episodes that air from 7pm to 8pm every weeknight on Comedy Central). I have actually altered my after-work routine to be home by 7 every night for Scrubs.
Total change of subject - Why isn’t John Krasinski my future husband) writing any episodes? Didn’t he go to Brown U for playwrite?
If you look on Wikipedia, on any episode description from the 3rd season (like this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Initiation_%28The_Office_episode%29), you can see a list of all the episodes in the third season with the 8th episode (which I assume will be airing on the 16th) being called Strike.
I don’t know how they got this, I could be made up.
Emily,
I mean, based on Nov. 9 title, that would make sense. Where’d you read that?
It makes me squee.
And, does we all hope that Ed Helms and Rashida Jones become permanant figures? Seriously, I’d love Karen at least to become a true member of the big 5 (Pam, Jim, Dwight, Michael, Ryan), which I guess would become the Big 6.

HOT. HOT. HOT!!! I’m so excited for this new lineup.
Scrubs and The Office? what else could anyone possibly ask for? OH YEAH!
Earl and 30 rock are the cherries ontop of a perfect night.
I’m going to have to start booking Thursday nights off of work!
Awesome. My day has just been made perfect!! Thanks for the news! :D
I usually watch Grey’s Anatomy but I honestly don’t have a problem dropping it for Scrubs. Scrubs is a much better show than Grey’s anyway.
i’m sad that 30 rock is going to be on at 9:30. I’m not ashamed to admit that i’m grey’s fan, so i’ll never see it now. Personally, i think Office should be on at 8 (its a better show than m.n.i.e. on soooo many levels) and 30 rock should be on at 8:30.
I read that it was called “The Merger.”
And that’s what I’m choosing to believe.
Like i love beets and catherine zeta I have not seen a single episode of Grey’s Anatomy and I never plan to do so.
Don’t worry, you’re not alone i love beets. I too, a member of the female population, do not watch Grey’s Anatomy. And I don’t really want to, either.
I wonder if they are shooting the show specially to fit the 40 minute slot or if they are just using one of the condensed 20-minute episodes and re-adding all the stuff they cut out in order to trim it down. I really hope it’s the former.
I guess I am one of the few females in the world who doesn’t watch Grey’s Anatomy. I don’t watch anything actually besides The Office. Perhaps I’ll give Scrubs a shot. Being number four when there are a gazillion channels doesn’t seem like such a bad thing.
november 16th is my birthday! great birthday present, yay.
and i’m also very excited that scrubs is coming back so soon.
I bet that the supersized episode takes place as one of the branches, Scranton, takes in new employees from Stamford. Afterall, it is the episode after Branch Closing.
Oh, and it is sad that 30 Rock will now be opposite Grey’s Anatomy, are you with me?
This is amazing news! I think that could be a really great NBC Thursday night lineup…and Scrubs is finally getting some respect! :-)
If NBC thinks that the solution to their viewership is to make the dedicated Office fans watch for longer…I’m ALL FOR IT.
Hooray!
btw, thanks, Tanster!
