Me and editor Dave Rogers. He played Angry Ray-Ban guy.
The props department provided Dave with at least six pairs of sunglasses to choose from, but in the end, Dave decided that these particular Ray-Bans would be perfect.
Ed Helms and Creed Bratton playing a little music during a filming break. It was really, really wonderful. The extras, staff, and cast would all come over to relax and watch them play.
If you haven’t watched The Mindy Song, go watch it now!
Since it was the last day of filming, Brian Baumgartner, Angela Kinsey, and Oscar Nuñez provided a coffee truck for all the staff and cast. By mid-afternoon, the temperature was probably approaching the 90s, so a frozen coffee drink really hit the spot!
Me with B.J. Novak and Mindy Kaling.
At one point during “volleyball improv,” when director Ken Kwapis tells the cast to just go off-script and play volleyball in character, B.J. and Mindy make up this little scene, where Ryan is making killer serve after killer serve, and this excites Kelly so much that she runs onto the court and plants a big wet one on him.
It was awesome. I was hoping it would make it onto the DVD, but alas, it did not.
Oh, and I didn’t ask them to pose this way, they just did. One of my favorite photos of the whole set!
