  1. Oh man, I’d so go, even if I had to rebuy the DVD, haha. *wants to meet JOHN* To bad that I live in Ohio. -____-

  2. They should understand that their TRUE fans, thus those that deserve to meet them, would probably already have purchased the DVD. I’m not a huge fan of these gimmicks. (And I’m also jealous, cuz I’m nowhere near New York.)

  3. That’s a scam. I wasn’t probably going to go, but it was a tough choice. Now it’s easy – no regrets. Seriously, compare how many DVD sets they’ll sell via the buzz from the appearance vs. the 45-plus sets they’ll make fans buy that day. It’s a drop in the bucket.

  4. No! I am going to be in New York the very next weekend. My timing sucks. Gimic or no, I’d buy a CASE of those DVDs to meet John Krasinski.

It’s just as well, I’d probably lose all control of my brain and start blubbering nonsense like a pre-teen at an NSync concert… or whoever pre-teens swoon over these days.

  5. if i was available to do this i would rebuy just to have an autographed copy and chat with them. It’s worth the price (even though the price will be higher then in your retail stores)

  6. I’m begging my brother, who lives in Midtown/Hell’s Kitchen, to go and get me their autographs for Christmas/my birthday. LOL He said it was too early to get up when he doesn’t have to be into work until 10:30am.

But I’m going to keep bugging him to do it anyway!

  7. I don’t want to be a downer, but I’ve gotten more and more annoyed about this signing thing. Not because of the DVD thing, but because it’s only 30 minutes long. It’s guaranteed to be a huge disappointment for the majority of fans who go. There are 45 dedicated-enough-to-go fans who live in spitting distance of the signing. Forget about driving or subway or train distance. They are going to have a large number of really disappointed or even angry people on their hands. It seems unfair and a set up for trouble.
