  1. I don’t know how you CAN’T watch this more than once. I just squeal and sob every time. Maybe I’ve watched it too many times now??

  2. I just watched GARAGE SALE over again on my iPod during my lunch break, and I started tearing up again! Good thing no one else was around at the time!

  3. I laugh at Kevin’s question every time. “All of us?” Haha. Oh, how I wish the entire office could follow Michael and Holly to Colorado, but alas, you can’t help but be happy for them. Perfect for each other they are!

  4. PERFECT PROPOSAL! Such a sweet Michael way.

Wonder if the wedding will be the goodbye, Michael parts?

  5. Awesome. This episode made me happy. Especially this part.

I’m sad about Steve leaving the show. It’s so great with him. I hope that the move to Colorado leaves the possibility open that Steve will make future guest appearances. That would be nice.

  6. The part that I can’t get over, as I watch this again and again; the part that grabs my heart and won’t let go, is the look on the staff’s faces as they take in the news that Michael is leaving. Heartwarming. Heartbreaking. LOVED this episode.

  7. this was incredibly touching! i love how everyone was a part of Michael’s proposal, very sweet

i wonder if Steve and Amy will make guest appearances next season, such as an episode where Michael invites the whole gang to the wedding so we get to see it, that would be cool

  8. It was really sweet. The Yoda voice could have been annoying but was instead adorable. Only thing that slightly mixed me up was that he didn’t actually like Holly on first sight. At first he feared she’d be a female Toby with a weird head, but I do get skipping over that as she never knew about it. (Also I thought she was originally from Iowa or something)

  9. I love Michael Scott, but I never thought he’d make me swooooon like this! Such an incredibly sweet, adorable, romantic moment. The entire proposal was done to perfection, but the part that gets to me the most is the tenderness in his voice when he says “This is where I fell in love with you, & this is where I ask you to marry me.”

  10. @ Thomas, in an earlier episode it is established she grew up in Des Moines Iowa. It may be a continuity issue in the writing.

  11. @Thomas (#11) and @Brian #13…or Holly’s parents could have retired to Colorado from Iowa. No big leap there.

  12. That’s a good point. Heck my brother-in-law’s parents left Iowa when they retired. (They went to Missouri though, not quite so adventurous)

  13. OMG. I knew it was coming, I read all the spoilers, they lead into it earlier in the episode, and STILL, no matter how many times I watch it, I can’t stop holding my breath!!!! That proposal was SO so perfectly done. It seems crazy and sudden but also perfect and so plausible and, well, so Michael and Holly.
and @Kate (#10) if we don’t get to see their wedding, for whatever reason, it will be really sad!
Thanks again, office writers, for making this show so amazing!

  14. The reaction from the staff is so heartbreaking because we’ve never seen them all show that sort of emotion for Michael before, but I think we’ve all known it’s there. He’s always been the annoying boss with exception to a few times (Pam’s art exhibit for example). He’s really the glue that holds them all together and it shows.
