  1. Loved that clip! The last bit was hilarious

“We should write a movie together!”

One Michael Scott is okay to deal with, two of them and the whole office might burn down. Can’t wait to see how the characters deal with the pair of them haha!

  2. HAHA! love when Steve’s face randomly appears when Will is doing his talking head! Will Ferrell looked so excited at 1:08 lol!

  3. is there anything that we can do to have Will for the entire season? he is THE replacement of MIchael.

  4. I was really interested in who directed this episode (looks like NBC hasn’t announced?) – I was thinking that directing Ferrell and Carell must be like rangling stray cats. In a good way.

P.S. I was going to try the JAM thing and combine their names, but you still get Ferrell or Carell. First names gave me Weve or Still – not much better. If you use their character names, they are Michaelangelo. Okay, forget it.

  5. “we should write a movie or something” YES, you should!

I for one can’t wait to see how his episodes go. He looks excited to be there.

  6. Hilarious! I was worried Ferrell would take this in a way-over-the-top direction. It’s good to see him doing a “Michael Scott” sort of thing!

  7. @ TobyFan: It looks like Mindy Kaling directed and Matt Sohn wrote it, or the other way around. If you pause it at the right time, you can see their names on the snap card when they are starting the scene.

  8. oh my………i’m sooo excited! i really do want will ferrell to be on for longer, that’d be cool. but whats this about will arnett? cause i think he’s genius too.

  9. LOL! I can’t wait! It looks like it will be just like Step Brothers! They’ll be hilarious together.

  10. Why do they keep saying he is the official replacement? How are they going to end his run on the show?

  11. Will Ferrell’s role is that of a teaser. Two episodes with Steve, and two after Steve leaves.
Why bring in Will’s character, DeAngelo, to distract us after Steve leaves if he isn’t staying on?
Since Will won’t be Michael’s replacement, will any of the stars they’re bringing in for the finale be the new regional mgr? Probably not.
I think that Will’s DeAngelo will screw things up so badly that Jo, from Sabre, will say “Enough is enough!” and simply promote Andy, Gabe, Pam, Darryl,Kelly,Jim,…who knows, but I’m now more certain than ever it’s one of these.

  12. I read that Will Arnett could possibly be the Scranton Strangler, and that would be AWESOME.
I also saw that there’s hints of Ricky Gervais coming in as Michael’s replacement? I’m not sure how I feel about that though. He could be pretty good, seeing that he is a similar character to Michael, but then again this could turn out to be bad. Too much of the same character might be kind of lame.
I don’t know but I trust that the writers will end this season really well. They haven’t disappointed me yet.
