Office receives PRISM Award noms

The Office has received two PRISM Award nominations:

  • TV Comedy Series Episode: The Office — “Drug Testing”
  • Performance in a Comedy Series: Steve Carell, The Office

From the press release:

The PRISM Awards are for productions and performances featuring the accurate depiction of drug, alcohol and tobacco use and addiction, as well as mental health … Recipients will be announced at a ceremony to be held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on April 24th and which will air in November on the FX Network.

  1. hahaha i love all these ludicrous awards ceremonies that are coming out of the woodwork to give The Office nominations, i don’t mind, more awards the better. Drug Testing was a pretty awesome episode, i wish Rainn had gotten the nom instead of Steve though, or maybe both?

  2. I never would have guessed that The Office would get nominated for “accurately depicting drug addiction and mental health.” Ha ha… that IS a hilarious episode, though.

    This is one of my favorite episodes, hence posting twice. I just keep thinking of funny stuff …

  4. I kind of feel like every episode of the show should be nominated…something related to drugs, alcohol, or mental illness pretty much goes with every character ;)
