Frazier Moore of the Associated Press talks to Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski about their roles of Pam and Jim on The Office.
An excerpt:
Pam was thrown for a loop by Jim’s boldness [in Casino Night]. So, apparently, was Jenna.
“At the table read,” reports John, “when I first read my line, ‘I’m in love with you,’ Jenna said, ‘What?!’ — right in front of the whole cast. It was hilarious. They put that in the final script.”
Thanks to Give Me My Remote and Amy for the tip!
A super-short promo for The Coup aired last night during ‘Heroes.’
Just a reminder that B.J. Novak (“Ryan”) makes his first appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight, October 3rd!
Helen Mirren and Jet are also scheduled to appear.
I don’t know if B.J. will do any of his standup tonight, but here’s an old Comedy Central Premium Blend video if you haven’t seen it before.
Watch the video here. (Thanks, Denise!)
Hammermill is indeed a real paper company, and several lucky Hammermill employees got to be part of the action as extras during last week’s episode, The Convention.
One of them, coffeekly at Xanga, even blogged about the experience. An excerpt:
We got to chat with the actors during the shoot between the takes! Steve Carell was a bit quiet … didn’t really talk to anyone (but he was HILARIOUS during the taping and it was hard to not break down laughing). Jim and Josh were really fun … dancing around the aisles and talking to everyone.

tacos_rebellion has created a new batch of Office cartoon icons, some from Season 3!
Here are some of my favorites:

The Jinx and Conan icons are animated and just brilliant; you must go check them out at tacos_rebellion’s journal.

Here’s a cute picture of Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey in the October 9th issue of Us Weekly, taken at a party honoring the year’s top talents. Jenna was named one of the magazine’s “Fresh 15.”

Thanks, Jenna, for the tip! (But doing the robot to “Jesse’s Girl”?)
