‘The Office’ comes to Verizon V CAST

From the NBC press release:

Starting today, V CAST customers with select phones can view short video on demand from NBCU’s entire suite of video channels, including NBC News, entertainment news from “Access Hollywood,” NBC Sports, NBC Comedy with “The Office,” “30 Rock,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” BravoToGo, NBC Entertainment, Telemundo, mun2, and iVillage.

I’m not a Verizion subscriber, so I have no idea how this really works. Are any of you guys using this? What’s it’s like? Are The Office clips like short deleted scenes or whole episodes?

  1. I’m going to check this out right now…you know what would be even better, though? If we could download the song as a ringtone on Verizon. They still don’t let us do that!

  2. Michele:

You can download it, not for free, from Sony Music Box on your phone. My friends love my ring, as do I because the Office has the best original theme song on TV today haha.

  3. V Cast is usually short clips from shows, less than five minutes. So probably single scenes. I have to check this out!

  4. You can get the ringtone for free on myxertones.com
Just type in “The Office” in the search box.

  5. #1 Thanks Matt! I now have the ringtone on my phone.

#2 The V-Cast that’s offered is the 2 minute replays that are on NBC’s site. So it’s nothing new, but it’s pretty cool.

  6. I have the new LG chocolate & Verizon & the Vcast clips are the 3 minute replays of the episodes. So far they have Phyllis’ Wedding, Ben Frankling, & Back From Vacation!
